Will Sinn was one helluva bassist... i saw them at the Glasgow Barrowlands on the last tour before he died, the guy was a star..... RIP Will...
They were incredible. I saw them "supporting" the Happy Mondays at the whatyamacallit in Kilburn. They blew them off the stage.
Will sin RIP
RIP Will 30 years ago to this day.
Just came here after watching Super Han’s wedding...
An utter classic. I cannot believe so few people have watched this. Spread the word and move any mountain.
Not gonna lie, The Shamen may very well have been ahead of their time.
Best version
According to the 1992 Boss Vid video, this is the video for ProGen (Beatmasters 7 Inch mix) - the 1990 commercial release of the track which would a year or so later (i.e. in 1991) be re-released as Move Any Mountain (Beat Edit)
thx 4 da nfo!!!peace!!!
UCD Bar 1991 the sound of Friday
Great to see the video for the earlier release of track, but isn't this 1990 rather than 1991?
Had no idea a David Baddiel look-alike was stalking them at 00:08 secs into this video.
It's one thing to have a Proclaimers look alike doing a rave song but when you throw in rap vocals about a "mountayyne", I have to tune out.
Personally, i think this is one of the finest tunes i've ever listened to. Will Sinn, RIP mate!
I suddenly have an urge to play Streets of Rage 2 right about now.
I have no idea why.
I used to be into the Shamen in the early 90s. This song being my favourite of them all. A true classic. I didn't really know much about shamens past, from what they were until I started googling them. It's hard to believe that the Shamen peaked 30 years ago. I remember being 16 or 17 when move any mountain was in the charts. So sad that Will Sinnott passed. You could tell his heart was really in it, looking at interviews with him. rip Will
RIP will sin
Why is it there's always one arsehole who dislikes every video? This is an awesome piece of work, absolutely ground breaking at the time.
Probably the best song they ever made, part of a lost generation
Still a favorite of mine. Wow....25 years since it came out. I still get charged up listening to it.
An Angel sent me this song because the lyrics were an answer to my question. I'm so blown away!
Will Sinn - miss ya.
One of the 90's dance group of all-time!
Innovators of dance scene if ye know what I mean. Mr puncannella he a real good fella n he's goes by the name of ebeneezer good.🐍 Legends!!
Will Sinn forever RIP - but always Dance in Peace as well!
The bass player is Will Sinn killed in his prime only 30 when he drowned off the coast of La Gomera, in the Canary Islands, while the band were shooting the video to the re-release of their 1990 single "Pro-Gen".
Forever The Shamen , quanti ricordi
Still one of the best dance tracks EVER ✌️
Love the way every member of the band is dancing to the tune.. & what a tune it is
Love Will's dancing at 1:04, what a talented musician lost.
I walk so tall, ascending I stand so high
Earth below me revolving above the sky
I feel no fear to be here is oh so fine
Shining brightly, like sunlight inside my mind
Well you know that any mountain is capable of moving
The Shamen and the new generation who are proving
You can be what you want to be
Let your soul and your body and your mind be free
Well never mind, we all are that
And going all the way is where I'm at
With delivery smooth like water from a fountain
That's why I can move any mountain
Move any mountain
Went to see the at the Top Rank Suite in Brighton, Early May '90, would have been around the time Pro>gen came out. Took an extra tab as I thought the first wasn't working. Foolish. I was faced by the time they came on. Think those phasered guitars sorted me out though.
Sounds brilliant! :) The Mountain Moved!!
super simon
Light-Span was the best track these ever released. Proper old school sound that samples various old electro hip hop tracks. Classic stuff. Pre Ebeneezer Goode stuff!.
2024?
Absolute banger. My favourite back in the 90s as i started my rave journey
Yes timeless👍
What a tune, absolutely timeless.
We can move any mountain..
The shark (Richard West), The stallion (Colin Angus), and the fish (Will Sinnot).
Still as good in 2021. Classic music that will never fade
last night 555th, today 63555th!!!(wth???) ;)
Ova pesma treba da se prevede na nemacki jezik da bude tekst u upustvu za upotrebu motorne testere i svih onih sprava Makita
Da bi i ostali brendovi otkljucavalu zupcanike na ovu melodiju
Absolutely brilliant! what the world need now is more music, and positive messages like this song!
Big up to that :-)
I remember when the were called 'Alone again Or' in Aberdeen
You've credited the wrong video director. This video was directed by Bernard Morales
This tune is Will Sinn .Think Progen , think ‘Will Sinn ‘RIP bro
I think the lack of playcount may be partially due to the titling. I know that Progen is the original title. But, the search will be for Move Any Mountain. I wish you success.
'Move Any Mountain' by The Shamen truly remind me of Canada, especially Nova Scotia (New Scotland).
Bands like Shamen and Allreal were somewhat needle movers.
Ibiz Classic
Какая выдающаяся команда. Купил их на кассете году в 94 примерно
Move any Mountain
30 years on and it's as incredible as ever.
RIP Will.

if Will Sin was still alive would this be the way the Shamen went after this tune?.
I think he would be proud.
Always loved this... The words are like something out of an inspirational speech! Amazing.
This kind of dance 💃 music will last forever I hope 🤞 future people
Will be listening to this pure epic when the dance scene exploded back in 90s and still sounds very fresh , my childhood memories. Top guys. Always blessed.🙌 Thats right Move any mountain!
Love the Shamen electronic sound early 90s timeless...unique and still sounds fresh today ❤🏔🎹
Still Sounds great in November 2018 and beyond.
They were the best group of the 90s. They were the group that created the sound of the 90s. The nineties were born and died with them.
Back in the Bordeline, West End circa 1990..
The sharp animation. Awesome.
Ich kann moof moof moof jeder Gebiergchen!

Adore yours!
Fantastik

Sorry i think will was from glasgow
I used to party with Plavka Coleridge back in the day. He was a very smart and methodical thinking person even when he partied. Great guy!
Plavka is a woman. Were you thinking of her partner, Casper?
Is that David Baddiel in the audience at 0:09?
HITS, 90'S
Hes talking about colin angus and will sinnot
Sinnot.
I listen to this every day
Good song, but this is an electronic track - why all the guitars, then?
believe it or not some older bands actually played instruments, however they both seem to be playing bass for some reason
The Shamen were a guitar band originally, and you can hear the guitars on this track...
Ilya S Because, as TheLexyboy states, there are guitars in this - just they're fed into a synth to alter the sound. Electronic certainly, but the electronic sound is effected/stimulated (modulated?) by guitars.
Guitar synths, even from the 80's (maybe before then even!), could make a guitar sound like a piano, flute, accordion, etc!
***** Interesting!
It's still moving mountains in June 2019
March 13th 2021...still moving mountains
