    All three turns are insane. It must be so painful to learn these turns given that you’re falling or collapsing over the bars from such height,

    By the way if anyone is interested in which Chinese gymnast competed these pirouettes first:
    Healy: Lin Li
    Ling: Ling Jie
    Ono: Bi Wenjing
    All names are unofficial due to the FIG removing names for pirouettes.

      Chinese TV commentators still use the Chinese names, kinda like how many European commentators refer to the Onodi on BB as the Mostepanova, and the full in tumble on FX as the Tsukahara

    Is there an easy way I can calculate the D score of a routine? It seems too difficult

    • @FlyHighGymnastics
      @FlyHighGymnastics  2 роки тому +5

      First you count the Top 8 skills performed, according to difficulty.
      A being the easiest, and all the way down to J being the hardest.
      A = 0.1
      B = 0.2
      C = 0.3
      and so on and so forth.
      Secondly, you add the connection bonuses. These are bonus points gained through connecting skills together. They are usually between 0.1-0.4, per connection.
      Lastly, you add the points from fulfilling Composition Requirements. Most routines would fulfil all the requirements, so you can just add 2 points to the score.
      And there you have it, a D-score ! Hope this helps ☺
