What beautiful trout. Nothing better! I am so happy to see Cuervo wearing that feather. I raised that turkey from an egg and processed it as humanely as I could. That feather is a gift from God. Wear it proudly!
James & Cuervo=Awesomness. Thanks for another great video. My favorite are you catch and cooks. I rcommended your channel to someone i know going through some mental health stuff, with everything going on, and they love it. They aren't even outdoorsy people, and can't get enough. I think your positive attitude, and the way you 2 are, is just a good thing to see. Thank you
Another great video, rainbow trout my favorite , simple , will follow your lead on the cooking my rainbow trout tomorrow .oh yes and a ice cold COORS ,
You can use salt on a wood cutting board to scrub slime off Trout, and other fish. My wife's trick from the Philippines to my Native Reservation in Arizona. Love the videos and Q's music.
Great video my friend, thank you for sharing. Happy Sunday to you. Greetings from Northern California. I wish that I were trout fishing right now. Be safe out there. 🤗
I grew up fishing Trout in the Rocky Mountain lakes of Colorado & the fish are way larger than stream fish! The only difference in cooking them is we always removed the heads and gave them to the grandmothers for their gardens! Glad I moved out of that Butt-Hole of a place years ago.
You should check out Tenkara fishing. It would be really good for these small rivers and streams. The simplicity of it can carry over to survival really easily.
Love the new video! Awesome catch with all the butterflies, lizard and hummingbird. Nature's amazing ! The cooking/catch and cook videos are always so satisfying. 😍 Sorry to hear your time down in AZ didn't pan out. Guess you'll have to come back! Round 2! 😬 haha
Looks good to me . I'm glad to see that you didn't cook the fish to boot leather. Say what is the name of that fine looking sheath knife you were using there, and where can I get one?
I'm assuming you filmed this after your escapade with your truck, an is it fixed now ? Ya'll found a honey hole their, you can always come back to it an catch another dinner, real pretty spot tho.
Would you make a sub 3 inch snake eater ? I want to edc one but living in California , especially Los Angeles county , fixed blades have to be under 3 inches .
@@JunkyardFox maybe something similar ? I was looking at the bark river little creek , but thought If I spend that much on a knife, might as well be to someone who’d I’d like supporting
@@JunkyardFox All good. have you heard of the "native fish trap"? l was browsing on youtube came across it looks.like it comes in handy but the way i see it depends on state and fishing laws etc we all know gotta go by the fishing laws idk if people in general can use it but it looks like it can be used in a survival situation.
our original plans changed last minute so we had to look for a new campoing location but you need to make reservations weeks before so all spots were taken, plus it was sooo packed out there, everyone was out in the woods.

Some bacon wrapped trout and an ice cold beer sounds pretty good right about now.

Awesome video man. Sorry things turned out the way they did. But at least you still got a fire, beer, grilled fish and some camaraderie.
I think they should an episode of alone. Called " Not Alone." So you and Cuervo can work as a team. That would be a great series to watch.
I forget which season but they did do a couples/team season a while back
Great video my friends! That fishing footage was awesome.
Your a true American Hero brother. Can i go on a camp out with you guys!
James you can wrap them in foil with lemon and jalepeno slices ad butter throw them right on the coals for about 15 or 20 mins cheers
ill try that out next time
Good job . From Glenn CATT in Massachusetts.
Its nice to see somebody catching trout on a basic fishing rig and not 3000 dollars worth of fly fishing gear
As always. Love the content.
Much appreciated!
Bring along black beans precooked, corn tortillas, aluminum foil and of course your favorite spices

Thank you! Cheers!
What was the onion for too? That was interesting!
it helps to keep the meat from sticking to the grill however you wanna warm up the grill first, then rub onion on it
@@JunkyardFox 😭😭😭😭 that’s so cool! Thanks for the wisdom!!!
Volcano Grill is how you get around that
Bro, do some more catch n cook vids.
Wow I would like to see more videos of that .. I do fishing too ,, I just moved to Arizona .. what are best places to go to fish in Arizona ?
Love that seasoning kit in the tin did you buy that somewhere or make it up yourself
i bought it off townsends.com

this knife is my design, its called the snake eater, theres the full sized one and a mini version, check out woodsteelknives.com
That’s hella butter bru

Where did the spice blend tin come from?! Is is glass?! How awesome!
i got it from Townsends.com if you havent checked out the townsends youtube channel, youre gonna love it

This was before his truck issue.
thsi was filmed prior that incident
We went to Phoenix one year and looked for a spot to fish. Only found a couple on the southwest side but not pretty like that.
thsi is a little creek right past payson az
@@JunkyardFox ah we've been meaning to go there. We will have to next visit.
Put a bacon strip inside and cook on a stick over open fire.
Now that it’s been a while can you say what creek this is?
I thoughy it was hot there... n trout like cold
Would you make a sub 3 inch snake eater ? I want to edc one but living in California , especially Los Angeles county , fixed blades have to be under 3 inches .
i think the mini snake eater is as small as can be feasibly made. any smaller and i dont think the multigrind would come out correctly.

Why did u scrub the onion at grill?
helps clean the grill a bit, and keeps the fish from sticking, not that it helped much there lol
