Pretty room, but I can’t believe they didn’t supply you with a bookshelf, being a student and all! Is there a charity shop or someplace within walking distance that you and your friends could walk to and pick up an inexpensive one and carry home? I would be furious having to keep my nice books on the floor. Just a thought... looks like you have enough wall space for something, just measure first. Especially if you are going to be in this room all year!
Faerie Hearthwitch I know! It’s very annoying! So luckily my dad found this my childhood bookshelf in the garage (he was using it for tools). So when he next comes to Exeter, he’s going to bring it with! I really miss having a bookshelf! X

I noticed The Woman in White in your book pile! I did it for my dissertation in English with American Literature and I LOVED IT!!! It's absolutely my favourite classic.
I've got the same edition of Beowulf!! I know probably many people does but I also just switched degrees to start literature and it amazes me that even here in Spain we are working on the exact same book. Thank you Ruby for being so indpirational. I was already a fan of yours but now that we are doing the same, it encourages me even more!!!

Ruby, please get a plastic or metal box for your snacks if you're going to keep them under your bed. Nothing more horrify than pulling the box out and finding a rat inside feasting away. Not to mention, unhealthy if they get in without you realizing.
