- This is the Las Vegas A's Tropicana site demolition taken on Sunday, May 26, 2024. The video starts by the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign on Las Vegas BLVD. I'm heading north down the Strip towards the Tropicana hotel. I make my way to the OYO hotel to video from the top of their parking deck. A lot of demolition has been completed since my last video. The original bungalow style rooms are just about completely demolished on this side of the building. I also noticed that the old wedding chapel is now gone in the pool area. The two main tower demolition seems to be moving along at the same pace. You can see that they both have the bottom 4 floors gutted.
The company in charge of liquidating the furniture and equipment is having another sale of site today. You are not allowed to film or take pictures inside of the building for this sale. I might go later today just to see what is still available. Please subscribe to my channel Raiders 1967 to get updates on the demolition and construction of the Las Vegas A's new Stadium. Thanks for Watching!!

When the Raiders moved to Las Vegas, the Athletics moving there is much needed
Not really
@@nickpatrick1636it’s gonna cause more traffic. How many more years until the NBA comes to Vegas. We already have the Golden Knights, Raiders, Aces, and soon the Athletics, does Vegas need more?
Looking forward to each upload, much like I did during the Allegiant Stadium videos.
Oh yeah she’s beautiful I’m so grateful to have seen it in person this past April
Have they decided what to do with the Tiffany skylight?
The black and white tent across the street from Mandalay is Jay Owenhouse magic show.
I always look forward to your latest posts on the Tropicana demolition. You do a great job! I hope you'll be able to continue throughout the whole process despite all the high walls. I find it interesting that they seem to be gutting the Towers. All the implosions I remember seeing had the building virtually intact as it collapsed. Not just the concrete shell open from one end to the other. I wonder why this one? All the other old hotels probably had asbestos too.
That las vegas A's ballpark in Vegas is gonna be unbelievable
It's not a for sure thing yet. It may just be empty land.
Construction on the new stadium will begin in April 2025 and will be completed in January 2028
@@davel9505isn’t it already a done deal? Signed the agreement and construction starts soon, I heard by April of next year when construction starts.
Yes, the Island Wedding Chappel and office have been demolished. You correctly identified the Terrace are where we conducted large outdoor weddings and the double glass door that leads into the Island Tower and convention area.
Still can see some elevators in one of the towers while they are demolishing the resort.
Great video thanks
Wow I'm watching somebody's video of the liquidation sale. You even passed a sign that says no video but there are video.
Lots of TV furniture looks like somebody already snagged all the ice buckets though.
There is a large service elevator that is accessed through an employees only door near the Island Towe elevators for guest use. That large service elevator can handle bobcats, scissor lifts and other equipment used for moving large items for the lower convention center and guest room floors.
the demo is going fast wow...
I Love The Tropicana Because it’s Has Tall Buildings and Wedding Chapels and The Mirage Has The Volcano and The Love Words On The Buldings
Vegas has changed so much since the last time I was there (and it's only about five hours away by driving😊).
I Am Very Sadness now because Two Famous Las Vegas Iconics Buildings going to be gone The Mirage and The Tropicana and soon everything’s going to changes in Las Vegas and not going to be the same anymore
Las Vegas hasn't been the same since all of the mega-resorts started coming in.
The new places in Las Vegas will be 10 times better than the current ones
The mirage will be closed by 2027 tho
1st....................enjoy your holiday weekend brother.
Thank you for the updates on Tropicana let us know your thoughts on liquidation sale
Liked the video
"anyone that watches my videos knows what this is" haha last year I went to vegas with some friends and I was a full on tour guide of the area because of your videos!!
The new baseball stadium and the new Hard Rock Hotel will be 10 times better than the current ones
I take it if they implode the building the surrounding properties will jack up their view rooms like formula 1 race! I’ll even bet they are giving those surrounding properties the actual date so they can adjust their prices and create packages.
Happy holidays Vetter! Hey dude, when you gots a minute could you post a short of the field at The Death Star? Is there even one this time of year? Thanks Vetter. 🏴☠️🏎️
The Tropicana will not be imploded.
Arrowhead South! Great to see a Championship won in Vegas! Go Chiefs! Most respect to the nation.
Can you film the pool/pool area?
You can't call it Rader Nation here when you are filming the A's stadium build. It's now A's Nation.
They've already got some jackasses tagging up the wall around the property.
Hope they stay in Sacramento and Vegas gets its own Vegas born MLB team
The new baseball stadium will be better than the old Tropicana hotel
No implosion last word i heard from out union local 872
well on the video i gave you what saw lots of chairs and tables but i did not watch the whole thing
New baseball stadium 9 acres
how do they get the bobcats to the top floors
They load it onto a flat piece on one floor and lift to another with a crane. Saw this in action yesterday
@@medichick7649 thanks
They use the service elevators some can handle the weight
@@JonJon_LP thanks
Man, I can’t wait in about 5 years to play MLB 29 The Show.
I’ll be hitting numerous home runs as Ohtani in this new Las Vegas Stadium.
Freight elevator inside the towers
Someone filmed inside there using a hidden camera
Hi Duntov, I watched all of you Allegiant Stadium videos. You would get more subscribers if you could video more often during the week.
O ya the baseball team will a higs crowds and i just thinking all food people will want and room and dont think for one min that what would happened if the As get into the playoffs or world series that palce will go nuts and dont for get the super bowl was played there and all money the hotels and everyone made off of that the city was raking it in i bet
The A"s had bout property by Burger King 👑 over there where the Orleans hotel and casino is at, what happened to the idea of building the Baseball Stadium there.
I don’t think there ever was any talk about building a baseball stadium at the Orleans Casino.
I think what you’re talking about is the Wild West property, which that is about 1 mile east of the Orleans Casino.
Now the reason why the Wild West didn’t happen is because, that site is owned and operated by Stations Casino.
Anyways the A’s made an agreement with the Vegas Carpenters Union to build their stadium, problem here is though Stations Casino are very anti-union.
Stations don’t like unions and the union doesn’t like them.
Both the Carpenters and Culinary Unions don’t get along with Stations.
Anyhow that’s why Wild West idea died , basically the A’s sided with the Carpenters Union.
Finally, now back to the Orleans Casino, let me tell you, I live in Vegas and always frequent the Orleans.
There is zero chance of an MLB Stadium of ever going on to that property.
The property is way too small to accommodate an MLB team, really you might have enough space for a college baseball or college basketball team there to be accommodated that’s it.
@@seanmiles6991 what i was try to say is that A"s bout some empty property over on that side
Bro what happened to my comment
which comment?
@@Raiders1967 I thought the A’s coming was a rumor! I thought the A’s didn’t have the funds to build the stadium! 🫤
They are still coming. Construction on the Stadium is supposed to start in April 2025.
@@Raiders1967 ohh gotcha!! 🤙🏼
Can’t believe they destroy the Tropicana.
