Biking 100 miles to Washington DC on the C&O Canal towpath trail

My first biking Century! 100 miles along the C&O Canal Towpath from Williamsport Maryland to Washington DC along the Potomac river and old Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad.

You may have used the spiral stairs for last time. NPS is finalizing plans to replace the stairway. Hired a contractor in Dec. Wrapping up permits.

What bike you riding? Looks like a killer ride in the cold haha.

@seanohara1387 I was riding a friend's hardtail mountain bike not sure what kind. Definitely could have been faster on a different bike
