Nice camera work, great music, spectacular views: This pass is rated as a 5 piece of cake, especially in a Defender! Wife, 12 year old son and me did Black Bear in a brand new 1991 GMC Jimmy 4x4 with all terrain Dunlops and no air down, folks it’s a nice Sunday drive don’t be afraid just drive alert and let the passengers do the gawking.
Awesome video!! Please do more like this!! Love the defender nice to see it in action! I love Land Rovers I'm also a big jeep fan but tired of seeing the same jeep rig in every 4 wheel video.
Awesome! My buddy in his nicely modded G-Wagon and I in my nearly stock JKU Rubicon conquered this trail in 2020. His ride definitely turned a lot of heads on the trail. Most glad to finally see one in the wild. Hope your new Defender did the same. We never found him a Starbucks up there though 😂😂😂
Is the challenge here just the steepness and sheer cliffs? From the video it looks like a generally well graded gravel road with a few sections of small-moderate rock steps?
Given the track, some of those cambers are really scary. I can see how it is easy you to fall off there. A lot of focus and good decision making required.
Awesome videography! Great driving. Love your Defender. But yes, music is really ghey. I can stand it if you used it sparingly, it would be bearable. But constantly? Just no!
Can’t decide if this would be fun to do, or just scary. Wife would probably never speak to me again if I took us up this, so probably won’t happen anyway. Think we’ll stick to overlanding on tamer stuff where we won’t die, and get our Mountain views the old fashioned way-on foot. This kind of looks insane.
It is insane and you have to know what you’re doing. Just this week, a Ford Bronco got flipped over and the driver is in critical condition. This trail is no joke, but if you know what you’re doing, have a good spotter, and a capable vehicle… you should be fine.
It’s not that bad. Other than the Steps is just a narrow road. At least it’s one way down which takes out passing. The shorter the wheelbase the better for me.

Definitely more videos to come.
The defender has really grown on me! 😍
Awesome driving. Beautiful trail!

Hallo, nice video ! Please tell me what tire size is that.
275/70/18
Really appreciated the views, but, not the music.
How tod was the defender in comparision witz the Wrangler Gladiator ?
What rims and tires are on that Defender? The stock rim and tire set up’s I’ve seen don’t look like they’d do well off road with their small sidewalls
It’s the factory 18” wheels and I got Yokohama Geolander mud tires on them.
Waht did broke, tell us pls?
How long does that trail take?
It says 2-3 hours. We really took our time, filmed and played with the drone a lot so it took us 4 hours.

Forgot to ask, what size tires?

Is it Defender 110 P300 or D240 ?
D240 not available in the states, so probably a P300. Can't get the P400 with the 18" stock rims.
Sizes of your tires are??

@@afterthelandroverexperience Just not worth it to me.
Worst soundtrack I’ve heard in a while. Besides which , volume was so inconsistent that I had repeatedly adjust my own volume control.
