Uh man, as much as I love the roop and think it was the best choice for Lithuania, I just love Monika's performance, especially the end with the shining heart and how it then made this sound at the very end and she symbolically became a "robot" again (or whatever else this should have meant, sorry :D ). Soo powerful and touching! Goosebumps! It's a shame she can't participate again next year with this masterpiece! :( Anyway, I wish her all the best for her career and will listen to this song over and over again.
You're probably right. But let's be honest, same goes to The Roop: If they wouldn't have chosen them, they would probably have wasted their only chance to send them. Still I agree with you, this song at Eurovision would have been a dream come true

I loved "Yes I Do" by The Roop in 2018 but "On Fire" was flat, irritating, unoriginal and hella overrated. Here's to hoping Lithuania select either Monique, Monika Marija or Aiste Pilvelytė(who's been competing since 1999) next year

Labai tikimės, kad nenuleisi rankų, nes priešaky dar daug metų, kada mums reikės tokių kietų pasirodymų kaip kad tu moki, kad Eurovizijoj imtumėm aukščiausias vietas ir nesidarytumėm gėdos.

The Roop laimėjo, bet Monique tikrai nebūtų padarius gėdos Eurovizijoje ir netgi būtų vieną aukštesnių Lietuvos vietų paėmus. Nedemotyvuokim savo atlikėjų nuo dalyvavimo Eurovizijoje, kai antrą vieta pateikiama kaip pralaimėjimas. Antra vieta - didelis laimėjimas, ypač šiais metais.
