This is an event of a preschool. We call this kind of event a Perahera. You can see large scale peraheras in temples. Some of peraheras include about 100 elephants and hundreds of dancers. Search on google - kandy perahera

If you want to see real Sri Lankan culture you should come kandy. In the future in this August there is ready to start the ceremony which is combination with many cultural event. This is a primary level event held by pre school but there is not show our culture.there are many event belongs to tamil culture coming from South india...if you want see real culture you should come kandy and rural areas and kandyan dance also...thank you so much...all the best...!
