    Hi everyone
    So today we are going to be fitting the Injora Flex Blades to one of the Trx4M Tarantula builds, and then put them head to head on a couple of obstacles.
    You guys let me know in the comments what do you think of each one’s performance?

    I used all the upper blades. With metal drive shafts, longer shocks and high clearace links, crazzy amount of twist. All that to keep up with the ax24

    • @rcfungames
      @rcfungames  7 місяців тому +2

      Yeah man tell me about it! The Traxxas trx4 m is a great platform but the axial ax24 is definitely one of the best micro crawlers of 2023!
      Thank you for watching and commenting bro! really appreciate it!!

    I just got Into the hobby I've got two trx4-m units..... a high trail edition.... and a regular bronco. I've done a few small mods to my high trail ( injora brass beadlocks... tires.. steering arm and steering servo) and I'm having fun with it but sometimes feel my stock bronco with slightly upgraded tires is more capable in different aspects .... especially tipping points. It's so cool to watch the incredible detail you put into this vids. I admire it so much. I'm learning by watching 👀your content 💯

      Hi Mike and thank you so much for watching and leaving such an awesome comment!
      I did find the high Trail to be very top heavy but once I fitted some nice Brass rims and tires with the extended axles it is a completely different machine!! I honestly recommend you pick up a set of extended axles you will be very impressed. 😉👍

    I have a high trail and I can only get about 5mm of extra flex in the front with the flex blades (I am running stock shocks) any tips? (I have high clearance links coming in the mail)

    Thanks for the video! Really bummed that they didn’t work out too well but I may or may not just buy them for the back or maybe I might make a build around the flex blades themselves

    • @rcfungames

      No worries bro! it was a pleasure.
      With the original links servo mount you can't even get the droop from the flex blades on the front axle like I showed you on the video.
      I know you can get the droop if you fit the high clearance links, the aluminum Servo mount and driveshafts! But then you are still got the issue of the severe angles on the drive shaft, so when you trying to do hill climbs on the front suspension droops out to maximum you start having binding problems.
      To me the solution is fitting longer links in the front and driveshaft
      Then you'd be able to run the flex blades with a limiting strap.
      I am going to leave the Flex blades on the back end get some sort of limiting strap.
      I like the way it performed anyway just need to stop that axle folding under itself on hill climbs.
      For now I'm going to move on to my trx4m Injora Jeep build
      We'll make another video on the flex blades as soon as I'm done with this build.
      Thank you for watching bro and interacting through the comments with me 🤜💥🤛
      You have an amazing day and I'll catch you soon

    run no springs and like 2-3 drops of 20wt oil and you should be fine with all the flex blades

    • @rcfungames
      @rcfungames  9 місяців тому +2

      With the original links servo mount and drive shafts, it doesn't allow for any more drop on the front axle no matter what you do!
      And even so I have tried multiple different setups on my other Rigs and no matter what you do the flex blades just hits the overall performance really hard!!
      They don't work bad on the back of the truck but I'm going to make a limiting strap for it.
      I could run it without springs but then the torque twist is unbearable on these rigs!
      To me the flex blades is an unnecessary upgrade to gain Flex when really you don't need it!

      @@rcfungames right but if you remove your springs, that’ll remove all of that height and it’ll ride flat

    Again, are these worth it on any TRX4M??
    I just bought the TRX4M Chevy k10 High Trail & plan on putting Samix weights down low, on it.

    • @rcfungames
      @rcfungames  9 місяців тому +2

      In my opinion they are just not a good upgrade! On the front of the vehicle it just causes so many problems!! The upper links catch the servo mount!! The driveshaft he's at Max angle not allowing for more articulation causing binding!
      Then you've got the next problem that it catches on the chassis as well, and the flex blades catch on the steering link when at full lock!!
      Just too many issues.
      On the back they were perfectly fine but I still don't like the design and the way it folds out on hill climbs.
      If you want more articulation! than just find some longer shocks!!
      You lucky bro wish I could get my hands on one soon!!
      That sounds like an awesome upgrade 💯💯💯
      Thank you very much for watching and commenting and I hope you have a good day 🤜🤛

      Hello Larry, indeed I have, I have just used them on my most recent build! iR40 Injora build
      I think they are awesome, and definitely worth it.
      I believe they would run great on the tarantula as well.
