Hi! Great video, very informative! I watched to find out about the 370 motor, as I'm planning an Injora trx4m scratch build, then I watch this and discover you are using almost exactly ALL the same components that I had decided upon! I'm going to use the LCG Carbon frame, the IR40 body, and 1.3 brass wheels with 70x26 Clingon tyres. And a laydown servo mount. Apart from that, near identical to your build! So thatnks for the inspiration!! Looks a great Rig : )

@rcfungames Question is: How do you bind the ESC to the remote, on this sucker?? The instructions aren't really clear on how to do that...🤔🤨 I need to know how, on this one, since I got it now.

I believe you can, it was one of my first questions, and as injora told me it takes the same gives as the original transmission. I will order a set of gears and see if they fit! Their new transmission will be coming out with aluminum housing and metal gears with their V2 electronics!
Thank you so much, I really appreciate the feedback bro! The reason I used 53 mm shocks on this build, is because I used the original chassis rails from the Traxxas trx4m. You see that's really funny because here in Portugal, all the Jeeps come out with transparent rear lenses!! So when I built it I put the transparent light buckets in instead of the red ones that are provided! And you are not the first person to mention this 😅 It's funny how over here they make them with the transparent white lenses on the back!! great build and video,in the front injora axle there are metal spacers, did you put them anywhere?also i put the screws from the bottom for the steering bar,i saw you putting them from upwords,is there a wright way or is the same?
Hi bro and thank you, yes I used the spacer behind the front hex's to eliminate the last tiny bit of play And the screws normally go in from the bottom, I fitted them from the top as icon see what is the difference 😅
Hey man thank you for giving me an idea on just making my own just want to ask if that is all I need to make a 1/18 traxxas scale rc thank you and more power
Hey bro, yes that is all you need to make your own, don't forget I used a spare chassis I had lying around So the one thing you need to add to your list is an lcg carbon fiber chassis from Injora or buy a spare one of somebody online! Injora also just came out with a new carbon fiber chassis that can take the lay down Servo mount system and it can adapt to any of the bodies available. So you might want to check that one out. They also have an awesome 20 amp ECU available and you can pick up the six channel receiver combo on this site as well which is a great setup for crawling and to add lots of accessories lights winch etc. I hope that helps anything else feel free to ask. Merry Christmas to you and yours and thanks for watching 🎄🎅⛄🎊
Thank you bro!! It's definitely a better option to put your own together then buying one and then upgrading it!! It turned out so good! The electronics could definitely have been set up better from Injora but in overall for the price I think it was an excellent combo! The motor has got outstanding power and speed. It's as fast as it was with your original gearing but with a nice slow crawl and tons of power when needed! Definitely will be my option to fit to most of my rigs once it's back on the market with the new electronics. Thank you for watching and commenting bro! 🤜💥🤛
I do believe there is a transmission available that will house a 370 motor for the fcx24. I personally haven't got an FCX as they are not available where I live. Have a look on UA-cam I'm pretty sure you will find a video related to that topic. Sorry I can't help more than that with this subject
No from what I know I don't believe you can fit the 370 motor to the normal aluminium transmission! Since I fitted this motor combo to the Jeep I have been waiting for them to come out with their updated version. I know it is supposed to be launched sometime in march that's what I was told back in November. So hopefully very soon you will be able to purchase an aluminum gearbox with the 370 motor which I'm sure will run really well with their MB100 ESC. I hope that answers your question anything else just let me know ✌️😉
Thanks Pedro 🤜🤛 The electronics I believe are waterproof, but the servo is not, and I definitely wouldn't trust the electronics being 100% waterproof! The new 20 amp esc from Injora is waterproof! And there 7kg servo Receivers normally are not waterproof, they normally put in a box to protect from water. You'd have to look up on UA-cam different ways to waterproof your receiver! I hope that helps
Bro this is not a licensed Jeep body!! Or else the price tag would have been double. I think it's a great looking body for the price and well made. I think they did those few things just so Jeep couldn't get them! And thank you very much I'm glad you liked the build. It turned out really good and performs extremely well, and there are still so many more things I want to do to it but too many projects on the table. Thank you very much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment. 🤜💥🤛
The video i needed. My K 10 have all the parts mounted with the purple motor , alu tranny and the crawler gearing. What drives me insane is the crap Traxxas electronics. The Injora 370 Motor and Receiver Combo is worth a try. Also very interesting for the new Trx MT, is out of the box so slow and lame.
Hi bro, I'm glad the videos are helpful! And yes I only realized how crappy the original ECM was when I started running the MB100!! With this unit the servos power increases a lot and speed, besides that you get a completely quiet system with a lot more punch than the original even with only the 180 4510 purple motor. I just installed the 370 motor with aluminum Transmission in my trx6m build, and I've got to say it is a really nice setup with the MB 100. They no longer make that 370 motor and receiver combo! That was the V1 version now they have come out with aluminum transmission with the 370 motor and you've got to buy the mb100, and you might as well pick up one of their six channel transmitter receiver combos for 30 bucks, they work great!! Way better than the original controller!
@@minnorkka No, if you order directly from Injora, you don't have to worry about customs at all (alfândega) That's why I mainly use injora. Sometimes it can take a little while to arrive, especially with the local mail service. De nada amigo, qualquer coisa é só dizer 🤜💥🤛🇵🇹
All together the cost of this build came to around 300€ And if I take in consideration that it performs extremely well and is basically completely upgraded I think it's a lot better bang for the cash then buying a Traxxas trx4m and then upgrading it.
Hi bro, if you look in the description of the video the link to all the parts used to do this build are there. The only stock part I used was the original chassis rails which you can purchase from Traxxas or getting off the market chassis of your choice. Thanks for watching and commenting. If there is anything else I can help with just let me know ✌️😉
You see that's really weird, because where I live here in Portugal all the Jeeps have clear tail lights! 🤔 Once I shut the lights you won't even notice because the real lights will always be on.
Thank you very much ! I've just discovered your channel and it's just what I needed. I wanted to start a TRX4M build from scratch without buying the Traxxas pack to have the fun of assembling it and all the information are here !! I think I will order it all directly from Injora Amazon shop. I'm just wondering a "few" things, I hope you or someone in the comments can help me with :) - for the servo I was going for the 7kg (for the waterproof feature), I think it will also work, right ? - for the chassis as I will start from scratch do you know if the double decker tray can fit in this Jeep body ? - for the motor I was going to a brushless to avoid upgrading it quickly after but unfortunately only the "Fat Viper 2204 Brushless" is available on the Amazon shop and it almost double the price. Have you tested it ? Does it worth the extra money or should I go for a brushed one first ? - for the transmitter pack I see that the receiver can come with or without Gyro option but what is the benefit of it ? Is it useful ? - for the battery do you have recommendation as I won't have the original Traxxas one ? Many thanks !!
Hello Adrien, I am glad you found my channel and that it's got useful content to you. There are quite a few more videos of me doing full injora builds. In this video I reused one of the original chassis that I had removed from the Bronco. Besides that everything was purchased from the injora site. The 7 kg Servo is waterproof, and they say that the 11 kg is not, but I have had mine enough times in water, and had absolutely no issues with it so far. And the performance from the 11 kg server is outstanding and the durability. I am sure the double-decker tray will fit in the Jeep body. I haven't had a chance to try the fat Viper motor yet, it's just arrived yesterday in the mail. But so far I am still more impressed with the brushed motors and the MB 80 ESC There's lots of little issues with the brushless setups from Injora. And for the extra cash I personally still think the brush setups work great in these little trucks. When it comes to the transmitter and receiver combo, there is no point having a gyro on a crawler. It is mainly used for fast cars or drift cars to keep stability. So definitely not a feature that you need on a crawler. I definitely recommend purchasing directly from Injora, their customer service and shipping times are great. You just going to be a little bit patient for the stuff to arrive which normally takes around 10 days. But the customer service is out of this world and always willing to help or replace anything that is not perfect. I hope this helped, anything else just let me know 🤜🤛 I apologize for taking so long to reply. Have a great day ✌️😉
@@rcfungames thank you for all the advices and quick reply ! :) I'm currently watching all your videos on TRX4M builds. It is to useful to see all the possibilities and tests that you've performed. I think I'll start with a brushed motor and it will still be possible to go for a brushless after ! Do you have any reco on Lipo battery ? Is there any online shop with battery compatible ? I'm asking because I'd like to avoid having to modify the battery output plug. Thanks again and have a great day !
@@adrien3333 so far I have had to solder my own battery terminals on to make it compatible, but I have found these batteries on AliExpress, that should be a direct fit with the injora brushless system. a.aliexpress.com/_EuKCjw1

Hi bro and thank you, yes I used the spacer behind the front hex's to eliminate the last tiny bit of play
And the screws normally go in from the bottom, I fitted them from the top as icon see what is the difference 😅
Hey man thank you for giving me an idea on just making my own just want to ask if that is all I need to make a 1/18 traxxas scale rc thank you and more power
Hey bro, yes that is all you need to make your own, don't forget I used a spare chassis I had lying around
So the one thing you need to add to your list is an lcg carbon fiber chassis from Injora or buy a spare one of somebody online!
I like your jeep!! The injora combo you put in your jeep is just for crawling? How it is the top speed?
Thank you bro!! It's definitely a better option to put your own together then buying one and then upgrading it!!
It turned out so good!
The electronics could definitely have been set up better from Injora but in overall for the price I think it was an excellent combo!
The motor has got outstanding power and speed.
It's as fast as it was with your original gearing but with a nice slow crawl and tons of power when needed!
Definitely will be my option to fit to most of my rigs once it's back on the market with the new electronics.
Thank you for watching and commenting bro!
🤜💥🤛
Is it possibel fit the 370 also in the FCX 24?
I do believe there is a transmission available that will house a 370 motor for the fcx24.
I personally haven't got an FCX as they are not available where I live.
Have a look on UA-cam I'm pretty sure you will find a video related to that topic.
Sorry I can't help more than that with this subject
You did it again brother… credit card is out
Oops 😅 lol 🤣
Just be careful, because it is really contagious!! And the symptoms of using the credit card can get worse!
🔥🔟🔟🔟🤙
I really appreciate it 😊 thanks so much bro 🤜💥🤛
Hey ryan quick question, do you know if the 370 motor can mount to the aluminum transmission from injora??
No from what I know I don't believe you can fit the 370 motor to the normal aluminium transmission!
Since I fitted this motor combo to the Jeep I have been waiting for them to come out with their updated version.
I know it is supposed to be launched sometime in march that's what I was told back in November.
So hopefully very soon you will be able to purchase an aluminum gearbox with the 370 motor which I'm sure will run really well with their MB100 ESC.
I hope that answers your question anything else just let me know ✌️😉
@rcfungames yes it does answer my question thank you very much 👍
Hey man awesome video. I got one question tho, are the electronics waterproof?
Thanks Pedro 🤜🤛
The electronics I believe are waterproof, but the servo is not, and I definitely wouldn't trust the electronics being 100% waterproof!
The new 20 amp esc from Injora is waterproof! And there 7kg servo
Receivers normally are not waterproof, they normally put in a box to protect from water.
You'd have to look up on UA-cam different ways to waterproof your receiver!
I hope that helps
Let injora know the door handles on that body are backwards and wrong for that model jeep other then that sweet build
Hi Ryan, did you have to pay customs (alfândega) when it arrived? Thanks in advance _ obrigado
@@minnorkka No, if you order directly from Injora, you don't have to worry about customs at all (alfândega)
That's why I mainly use injora.
Sometimes it can take a little while to arrive, especially with the local mail service.
De nada amigo, qualquer coisa é só dizer 🤜💥🤛🇵🇹
All together, What was the cost of this build. I love this setup. well done!
All together the cost of this build came to around 300€
And if I take in consideration that it performs extremely well and is basically completely upgraded I think it's a lot better bang for the cash then buying a Traxxas trx4m and then upgrading it.
Does it have a real grill. Or just the angry one
They also have the normal grill, which is now available for 20c
How can I get this setup
Hi bro, if you look in the description of the video the link to all the parts used to do this build are there.
The only stock part I used was the original chassis rails which you can purchase from Traxxas or getting off the market chassis of your choice.
Thanks for watching and commenting.
If there is anything else I can help with just let me know ✌️😉
Only thing I have to say, looks kind of weird with clear tail lights lenses rather seen red
You see that's really weird, because where I live here in Portugal all the Jeeps have clear tail lights!
🤔
Once I shut the lights you won't even notice because the real lights will always be on.
Thank you very much ! I've just discovered your channel and it's just what I needed. I wanted to start a TRX4M build from scratch without buying the Traxxas pack to have the fun of assembling it and all the information are here !!
I think I will order it all directly from Injora Amazon shop.
I'm just wondering a "few" things, I hope you or someone in the comments can help me with :)
- for the servo I was going for the 7kg (for the waterproof feature), I think it will also work, right ?
But so far I am still more impressed with the brushed motors and the MB 80 ESC
There's lots of little issues with the brushless setups from Injora.
I hope this helped, anything else just let me know 🤜🤛
I apologize for taking so long to reply.
Have a great day ✌️😉
@@rcfungames thank you for all the advices and quick reply ! :)
I'm currently watching all your videos on TRX4M builds.
