I've owned these for well over a year and couldn't get them to sit right. Thanks to your video, I persisted and now my 215's will finally be put to good use 🙏PS - the sound clarity is off the charts good! 👍
Wow. There's some misinformation!! In general, equipment blessed with the word "PRO" doesn't come with ANY promises. Some of the stuff you said, like how consumer grade stuff prevents you from hearing background noise, is just completely FALSE. There is some truth behind what you are saying, but it's messed up bad. The idea you are going for is that people who work in audio want 'NEUTRAL' sound, and often, consumer stuff decorates it with more bass, etc. It's NOT an absolute though. There are tons of consumer earphones out there which provide neutral sound, and they aren't that expensive at times!! The SE215 isn't all that neutral as far as pro devices go either. You need to head up the model chain a bit to accomplish that. I believe the 215 is really good for vocalists in particular. Those sweeping generalizations are not good.

I have the same one from 8 years ago. Modern wireless earphones sound better than this one due to bigger drivers. They are very secure in your ears. But it takes a long time to untangle the wires due to the design from the carrying bag.
can you wear the wire in front or does it have to run down your back?
If I’m using these for gaming, do I need an external dac/amp? I have the moonlights and the sound is very low

215 is terrible and over priced. Fit is horrible. Sound is distorted at any decent volume and just not good. Cable is terrible and everyone has said they short out easy. The fit is biggest issue. Way better options

This specific IEM is mainly used for musicians, but because of that it can be used for gaming as well. Due to how powerful instruments are compared to gaming audio, it can be used for it.
I use them in gaming / Compete it’s the best sound honestly I can hear everything just understand you can’t have 100 volume level louder isn’t good you need the right balance so you don’t blow your ears
I've been using these for 2 months, they sound amazing when I monitor my voice for streaming or when I plug them to my pedalboard to monitor my guitar or my bass, and even when I listen to music on them. But I don't think they are "neutral" or flat, actually I feel like they are really bass boosted. I don't do any mixing, mastering or anything that requires that, so I'm ok with it.
I have had these and the wireless for over 6 years. For the price they cant be beat. Sound quality is spot on and fit is above par. Have never had any issues with them popping out on sweaty days. Just buy them and spend some time with the different inserts to find just the right ones.

I have the SE425 and I hate the over ear fit, so I just use them like normal ear buds and they are comfortable and stay in fine. The downside is that after three years of using them, one of them just separated along the seam. They are currently held together by some small bits of tape.The other complaints I have is that the cable is a bit short and any movement or rubbing on the cords transfers audibly to the headphone.
