Fantastic idea fella. Definitely going to do this myself, thanks for this 👍🏼👍🏼
It is great that you got all of that in a Systainer!
Love this, great idea, I think I’ll get a sys 3 so I can close the lid and put some vents in, but thank you for this 👍🏻

Awesome! I used a spare Systainer last week to make a router bit storage case. CNC’ed out a template I found in SketchUp 3D Warehouse!
Ahhh wicked! I want to dabble in some cnc stuff. not sure where to start at the minute!
@@BradshawJoinery nah you don’t, CNCs are for unskilled joiners, you’re way too good at proper joinery to need one 🤣
great idea, going to copy that😃
Nice. I'm impressed you could fit it all in the one systainer!
Bit of headscratching to make it all useable but it works brilliantly
I did exactly the same thing, but using a Festool SYS-Powerhub instead. There's one socket on the inside of it which hooks up to a mains distribution board just like you've done - but there are then four sockets on the outside for all my mains kit.
Nice one Kevin, Does the powerhub have storage inside aswell? i just thought they were plugs on the outside! I have heard of people having trouble using the sockets as its reallt designed for 2 pin european plugs not 3 pin uk.
@@BradshawJoinery Hi mate - yes it does, although there's not as much room as you get in an empty standard Systainer - there's an integrally moulded plastic box on the inside containing the circuitbreaker and socket wiring - plus there's a captive 10m rubber cable to accommodate in there. Still enough room to get chargers in for my Hilti 22v kit and Paslode gas bradder though, although the mains cable needs wrapping carefully so you can get the lid down. Almost everything else I use is mains-powered though, so I don't have as many batteries as you. The UK version comes with standard 3-pin sockets. Love the channel, keep up the great work. All the best.
Love it 👍
Great idea Ollie 👍
Thanks Mark! :D
Thanks great purpose for one of my empty systainers
Nice one Mark, its a brilliant space now!
Man I love it
Me too, this is unbelievably handy and good!
Brilliant idea only problem now is you will forget to take the batteries lol. What do you reckon to that woodweld Pu glue compared with sovereign Pu glue.
Haha, most tools I keep a battery with and have a separate box full of batteries too! Hopefully won't run out! Lol
Woodweld is decent, quick and hard setting. Little too quick for glueing up doors! Nice colour too, don't like the yellow/orange colour pu glues
genuinely impressed, well done!
how's it all holding up nearly 2 years later?
Its brilliant! I had to retape the underside of the aa charger and glue it down with ct1, but otherwise really really useful! If ive got that box i can charge everything!
@@BradshawJoinery I’ll make one tomorrow thanks for the update. What is the foam called that’s on the top side btw?
It's a proper stainer foam insert, I removed the base part and repurposed the stainer but search festool se-dp
With a bigger systainer you could even leave the batteries in there
Cheers, ive updated this to dewalt drawers now. But the concept works great
Are you selling any of the dewalt tools such as recip saw?
Sell tools? 😳😱😳😱😳😱
That’s like asking a man is there any chance with his wife!!! 🤦🏼♂️
Haha I'll Echo Paul's comment, I once bought two pin guns (accidentally) and couldn't bring myself to send the spare one back 😂👍 it still sits in the packet.
I might sell the jigsaw at some point, I will try and remember you if I do decide to 👍
@@BradshawJoinery sorry got two jigsaws already
No worries, I'll keep the recip, I don't do many rip out jobs but it's a handy tool when I do. I've got a carbide tipped blade for it, mega handy when cutting frames out upto a brick lining, doesn't blunt the teeth.
I don’t like to mince my words or waste anyone’s time.... is there any chance with the wife ? 😂
I’ve left so many chargers on jobs 😢. Places like Manly etc. there’s no way I’m going back to collect it ( not worth time and fuel) unless I’m working near by, and usually by then I forget!
Smart idea! Just don’t plug it in in the laundry at the back like dickhead here does 👍🏻
where did you get the stickers for the systainer?
Made them myself. Someone on Festool Talk Group (simon) sent me the file and i edited with the text and pictures i wanted then printed onto photo paper.
@@BradshawJoinery thanks for the reply I’m going to make some myself for my systainers
Laminate if they get wet atall as mine ran in the rain! Lol
Do you ever have issues with overheating?
No the lid is always open when in use! This is one of the best things I have done haha!
@@BradshawJoinery might be time to clear space in one of me Makpacs then. Good shout !
he wants the heat to warm up some aluminum wrapped kebabs
