    Awesome! I used a spare Systainer last week to make a router bit storage case. CNC’ed out a template I found in SketchUp 3D Warehouse!

    I did exactly the same thing, but using a Festool SYS-Powerhub instead.There's one socket on the inside of it which hooks up to a mains distribution board just like you've done - but there are then four sockets on the outside for all my mains kit.

    • @BradshawJoinery
      @BradshawJoinery  4 роки тому

      Nice one Kevin, Does the powerhub have storage inside aswell? i just thought they were plugs on the outside! I have heard of people having trouble using the sockets as its reallt designed for 2 pin european plugs not 3 pin uk.

      @@BradshawJoinery Hi mate - yes it does, although there's not as much room as you get in an empty standard Systainer - there's an integrally moulded plastic box on the inside containing the circuitbreaker and socket wiring - plus there's a captive 10m rubber cable to accommodate in there. Still enough room to get chargers in for my Hilti 22v kit and Paslode gas bradder though, although the mains cable needs wrapping carefully so you can get the lid down. Almost everything else I use is mains-powered though, so I don't have as many batteries as you. The UK version comes with standard 3-pin sockets. Love the channel, keep up the great work. All the best.

    Brilliant idea only problem now is you will forget to take the batteries lol. What do you reckon to that woodweld Pu glue compared with sovereign Pu glue.

    • @BradshawJoinery
      @BradshawJoinery  4 роки тому +1

      Haha, most tools I keep a battery with and have a separate box full of batteries too! Hopefully won't run out! Lol
      Woodweld is decent, quick and hard setting. Little too quick for glueing up doors! Nice colour too, don't like the yellow/orange colour pu glues

      No worries, I'll keep the recip, I don't do many rip out jobs but it's a handy tool when I do. I've got a carbide tipped blade for it, mega handy when cutting frames out upto a brick lining, doesn't blunt the teeth.

      I don’t like to mince my words or waste anyone’s time.... is there any chance with the wife ? 😂
      I’ve left so many chargers on jobs 😢. Places like Manly etc. there’s no way I’m going back to collect it ( not worth time and fuel) unless I’m working near by, and usually by then I forget!
      Smart idea! Just don’t plug it in in the laundry at the back like dickhead here does 👍🏻
