According to Prof. Alan Sabrowski ex US Army War College, 1109 was Israeli operation, hence to dig whistling and war of terror remains a FRAUD.
This is so disappointing and disingenuous. Labour couldn't vote for the SNPs motion, because it also included the term 'Collective Punishment.' This has to be ruled such, by international courts. Because it's a war crime. Governments can't accuse other governments of war crimes, without it first being judged a war crime. The SNP knew this. They knew Labour, who are very likely to be the next government. Couldn't agree with this. The SNP wanted to split Labour, cause a big row. Labour needed to support a ceasefire, but couldn't under those terms. The SNP were angry their plan didn't work. Labour are majorly challenging their party in the upcoming elections.

@@kerryfry1857 All it needed was Starmer to talk to the government and his MP's to vote down that motion and put through his own amendment to remove the Collective Punishment bit no split in the labour party ceasefire called for. The SNP position has not changed from the first days this was humanitarian NOT political, Starmer himself made it political and made it worse.
I could not disagree with a single word you uttered so eloquently and succinctly in this presentation. In fact, I was taken aback by the frankness and objectivity of your arguments. This will resonate with the vast majority of ordinary British people, who share the same qualities as you.

18 February SNP WM Leader, Stephen Flynn, wrote to Keir Starmer offering to meet & see if they could agree on a Ceasefire Motion but got no reply.
Hoyle, The Speaker of the House of Commons & previously Labour MP, broke with the Commons Convention to allow a Labour Amendment to another Opposition Party Motion.
Hoyle did this while other Labour & Tory MPs filibustered in an attempt to timeout a vote on the SNP Motion & Amendments.
Hoyle's original excuse for breaking from convention was so there could be a wider debate but that's just nonsense as he could call anyone to speak in the debate.
The 'plan' you assign to the SNP never existed - Foreign Policy & Defense are wholly reserved to Westminster & the people of Scotland that elected SNP representatives wanted them to DO SOMETHING ABOUT GAZA - Me included.
Oh & btw, the SNP were waiting to vote FOR the Labour Amendment in the Aye Lobby when it was passed in the House without calling for a Division.
I don’t know how anyone wants to vote for Starmer regardless of what the Tories have done. What Starmer has done and facilitated whilst not even in power is dictatorial and absolutely terrifying.

In the Sky interview Starmer admitted he spoke to one of the politicians cited as making genocidal statements during the ICJ hearing before the vote. Sky subsequently deleted the Starmer interview from their social media, probably under pressure by Starmer and his team. Fortunately people clipped it before they could memory hole it.

I marched with Orthodox Jews Muslims and christians on the free Palestine 🇵🇸 march when thugs were at the Cenotaph! I a 68 year old white woman was allowed to hold the big flag as we marched . Everyone on the march were just so lovely children showed me their drawing asking for a cease fire ! These leaders of the two parties in government don’t have the moral courage these little children have let alone the grown ups on that march! I am so ashamed of this government and labour! It teaches us who had the power it’s not the people of this country that’s for sure!

How do we end up with a House speaker who is part of friends of Israel?
For me one event stands out, what the hell is Starmer doing speaking to the President of the foreign nation under discussion in Parliament - moments before the motion is raised. I'm an old fashioned international Socialist and this action is rotten to the core.

As a law abiding UK Muslim who has nothing but served the UK society for over half a century, the past few weeks have brought incredible fear and anguish. This has shamefully been exacerbated by the opportunistic politicians who are actually guilty of Genocide in Gaza and want to see breakdown of social order in the UK to benefit their political careers. The UK public needs to wake up.

So very glad to not be living in the UK anymore. Too much hate and prejudice towards Muslims. It is madness for any Muslims to live there imo. When I visited 2 years ago I felt uneasy going outside and felt much more at ease once I left again. The 80s and 90s were quite nice and so was Uni. Things have plummeted in the last deacde.

I’ve marched weekly ever since.. and will do so till we stop the killing in Gaza..I’ve never been political.. but I’m learning about Israel/Palestinian conflict over the years.. I never knew.. to my shame.. I never knew any Muslims until more recently there has never been any antisemitism or hate shown on any of the marches I’ve been on.. lots of kindness and heartfelt solidarity with Palestine.. we the ordinary people of the world want this genocide stopped.. and Freedom for All Palestinians.. no more occupation in Gaza.. The politicians to wake up.. do our bidding as they are paid to do.. END THE SUFFERING OF PALESTINIANS, CEASEFIRE NOW PERMANENTLY
Agree with you 100%. I've been to the marches, and it was absolutely great to see people from all backgrounds, white, black, Arabs Jewish, French Italians, and many other nationalities, also people from deaf community.. it was nothing but love and compassion.

I am a British born from British mother and Egyptian father, lived in Egypt for 17 years since I was 2 years old, and experienced the dictatorship of Mubarak era, and when I came back to UK, I genuinely thought I would experience something I didn't experience in Egypt, which fairness and freedom, and the very basic rights. Damn! Was I wrong?
The more I live in the UK, the more I learned that the corruption, inequalities, and the criminality of this state are beyond what I experienced in Egypt. At least in Egypt, people some who were looking up for each other, while in this fxxked up country the hatred, and division between people is far beyond and extreme especially when the administration is supporting, and arming crimes, where I know I have no choise but to be aware that my Tax if funding this shit, and on the top of that this fxxin administration serve only certian category of people!

Our government is taking our taxes and spending a good portion of it in ways taxpayers do not want. The only way we can have any say in this is to stop paying our taxes but to get everyone to agree to that wouldn't be possible.
@josephinehill3207 Unfortunately, apart from the impossibility of gathering everyone around such action, all our money is in Banks, and they can easily issue law to freeze accounts and withdraw what they wish.
They will deal with it exactly the sameway as debts collector, waring after warning the then take your assets regardless which form is your assets, whether cash in banks or things you own.

If you were an extremist who was threatening members of parliament with the aim of forcing them to apply pressure to Israel then why would you be opposed to them voting for the more unequivocal, straightforward motion of immediate ceasefire ( the snp’s) rather than labour’s amendment which had more ts and cs that Hamas would be required to meet before Israel would consider stopping the mass slaughter?
If you were intending to physically harm somebody due to your extremist views why would an opposition day motion in the HoC register in your thoughts whatsoever? Wouldn’t you just do it, regardless of the vote?
It’s bullshit, and stands up to no scrutiny at all. Labour MPs were apparently in danger, but only if they didn’t get to vote for a labour amendment. We’re expected to just take that at face value.

I suspect MPs are more under threat from the Israel lobby than from protestors…. Not threats of direct violence, but of having their careers smashed. We have seen this happen over and over again. Starmer doesn’t even need to hear threats to know what will happen to him if Labour supports the rights of Palestinians in Gaza. Because he’s seen it happen to the party before

That display was so telling for the rest of us. The way they all fell into line. The way they all knew the falsehood of the moment and each one of the creatures did their bit. On one level it was almost complex. But overall it was desperatley sad to see grown up people hiding behind a flimsy fib ..like children hiding behind a single blade of grass expecting not to be discovered.
