You know I never thought this channel was missing anything, until I saw Randy with his dog
Awesome video. Huge tree! 👍👍
Of course the arborists dog is called Stump!
Just Perfect
I passed my certified arborist exam this morning and come home to a new guilty of treeson video! Can today get any better?
congrats mate!
Bet they didn't teach the advanced round house kick.
Congrats bro. I still need to get mine…. Any study advice?
congrats ! welcome to the club
I love the humor. You and Randy rock. Glad to see your business thriving.
Broski, don't compare your gear to what Eastside has. You are doing amazingly well for a new business. You'll put Eastside out of business soon enough!
Holy Moly! He has firewood for years! You and Randy are a hoot!! Always love when y’all banter.
You had a great crew working today along with stump 🐶. and your tree service is growing 💯 congratulations on the new wheel loader 👏 what a back saving time saver that’s gonna be! Thanks for the video Jake! 🪵 🪓 🪵 👋
What a chipper! You could go Fargo with that thing!
A pedo disposal...
We love you Kevin and Randy you do an awesome job. We keep saying we’re going to invite you all back to Florida to cut down all my pine trees around the house. Unfortunately we don’t live on the water we’re in the horse country of Florida. We are so happy that your company has really grown and we have enjoyed the journey. Congrats on all the new equipment.
Doggo! That just improved the channel! Hi Stump! Lots of ear scritches from me! (and that's a heck of a lot of firewood, that owner will be moving it for days)
Nice! Lots of cuts! Love the channel and Randy!! Congratulations on growing your business 👏🏻👍🏻🍀🍀
I knew I liked Randy, not just for the quick whit but, he takes his buddy to work with him.
Thanks for the upload Jake!
Randy resembled a Mutant Ninja Turtle with the backpack blower on and kicking branches as they dropped...always a laugh a minute with you two.
Thank you for the entertainment. Great work that you do young man 😊
Thanks for the video. Here on the east coast if you get any red or white oak makes great firewood just another option for your business. The wood chips make great mulch if you have a mulch company near by they will probably buy the wood chips from you so there is money to be made all the way around just an idea
fantastic vid & job. you had a great team. congratz on the new equipment
"Not like the other maple that filled me full of rage and fury" = OUCH! HaHa. Lots of work there, amazing how many cords of wood these maples produce. Always enjoy your vids. Keep up the fine work!
Cheap to airbag that truck, Jake. Man, you just keep getting better! Rock on!!!! That airhorn, lol!!!
I thought the name of the channel was changing to Randy the Mandy is Guilty of Treeson. Lol
Randy looked like a ninja turtle, kicking that branch with the backpack blower and helmet
Jake you need to try out the square barrel for clean ups, they’re a game changer for cleanups
@GuiltyofTreeson If you want to make your plywood last, then cover them with a lightweight fibreglass weave and epoxy. In addition to making them last longer, they would be much more durable and waterproof if you can encase each sheet correctly. It's easy to do even for a novice at making composite materials. Keep up the good work.
love your videos. I'm glad your business is doing good
Great job Jake.
NICE TO SEE YOU WORKING WITH RANDY !
If it’s any consolation Randy you’re saving the roofers from having to tear up the lawn 😊
Great video Jake! Good job Jake and crew on getting that maple downed!!😎🤘🏻much love from central Massachusetts 🌲 🌳 🪓 🪵 🚚🏡
These guys are a riot! Round house kicking that top was the sickest thing I've seen in quite a while
Holy crap 1.22 mil subs. I remember this channel when it just started. Crazy how fast it grew. Awesome content 👌
Great work
That was fun.
Jake,
Putting a lot of love and money into your equipment is admirable and necessary.
Please remember that ALL of that is fixed overhead expense and should be recouped in your rates. All the best!
Congrats on the mini wheel loader purchase!
Great answer to my question that does make sense thanks for reply 👍🏻
Great video !
Dang, Randy LEVELED UP! Massive chipper, total beast. We have one of those at work and a newer 19xp. Good machines.
Everyone needs a great friend randy nice dog.
When you paint the plywood,
put sand in the wet paint for traction.
Can’t wait to see the Avant in action! That’ll change the game I bet! Thanks for the vid!
Another Great Video @Guiltyoftreason , Congratulations 🎊 on your New Purchase and Your Company's Success. Thx Jake
Y'all Zerk around to much 😅😅😅😅 . Love when you and Randy are working together!!
5:55 this is why I love the tree community, helping each other out :)
Try some universal airbags on your pick up for towing. Keep up the great work fellas 🤙🏼🌲💜🌳🪓
Built to conquer the toughest challenges - these heavy-duty machines are unmatched.
You do good work my friend be safe Dan from Arkansas said that
Nice video!
You guys are looking great. Smart purchases. Love watching you and Randy. Keep it real!💪
Another video... yesssssssssss❤
Thats a amazing chipper my previous employer has almost the same one its a beast! You guys are awesome keep up the good work.
We use that exact same Bandit, thing is a beast
So, with my tree business, that my grandfather started in 90. All he has ever had was forestry trucks, and you're right, after I worked for asplundh a few years(mainly to get my CDL training for free, and get my line clearance certs/skills) once I came back to using a forestry truck after using a rear mounted bucket truck, the rear mounted ones are SOOOO much better. but after all the years of using a forestry truck, and the fact that I am still using one to this day, I started this comment to say that if you set the bucket up with the side of the truck closest to the tree, instead of pulling straight up to it, it's basically just as good as a rear mount, you'll get much more height from your bucket that way, and much more reach across the tree. Also, you're chipper would be in a bit better spot for your ground men, vs having it way at the back of the truck, completely on the other side of the truck from the tree. I can't remember the last time I set my truck up the way you have it in this video. I ALWAYS set it up sideways to the tree now. Unless it's a really tight fit, where the truck can barely get to the tree driving straight to it.
You have come a long way since you were a ground guy. I am glad that you started climbing
Oh man I’m a huge Heeler fan!!
Great video as always. Got any videos of the stump removal?
think you might need buckin with his wood bullet round there! 😁
I can't believe Randy didn't name his dog Cinnabon! 🤣
My first new full episode, yes.
You need a rear mount bucket truck and a chip truck, then you could eliminate needing the service truck on every job because you have so much storage on a rear mount. Also a chip truck will hold like 11 yards of chips.
You all do great work though I enjoy watching! I’ve learned quite a bit from your channel. I’ve been doing professional tree work for about 6 years now.
I love the Northwest, clean and green.
And wet.
Nice chipper. The avants a game changer.
Enjoyed the video. A big job on that multi-leader maple. A fine job by all. Nice cutting and ground work. A lot of work.....ugh!
You guys are killing it! If you have a 390 or 395 I’d like to see that more in the videos and your thoughts on that saw
Have you ever thought about drilling a couple of holes in your bucket?
Might be a good idea to keep it from filling up with water.
Maybe a dedicated dumping trailer. You could chip into that trailer first and then switch to the dumper in the bucket truck. If it looks like that won’t do it, then have one man go dump the trailer. If the dump trailer was big enough, it could be used to haul extra equipment or even the chipper when done. Your dumping utility trailer is nice, but they don’t raise high enough. They are versatile but they have their limits.
Jake I had the same thing happen with the airhorn in my chip truck! I pulled the cord too hard and somehow stuck the mechanism open! Had to pull over and drain the air tanks
My set up is similar, and you have to get creative for sure. It is just my wife and I on jobs, so I like to cut into the canopy and set rigging and with that many feet on the ground utilize big rigging cuts to have less cutting to do.
Hey Jake, why dont you drill a few holes in that plasic bucket for the bucket truck? Saves you tipping it all the time
Put an air spring bag suspension on your truck. It will help when carrying or hauling a heavy load.
1:41!!!!😲🤔 in 2018 i had thought up that name for own tree service business🤪but spelled slightly different
On trees like this and the maple last week you oughta get your editor to do a cut counter in the corner. I bet it would be a big number.
18” Bandit with a winch. That’s production right there.
Nothing better than Randy and T540xp content
I notice you with your new 2500 you talk about how the rear end squats with all the heavy pulling you do, I'd say get a add a leaf kit for that thing. They ain't too expensive and could give your rear suspension some extra beef to it so all that tongue weight doesn't droop down
Alturna mats are well worth the money. I know they are expensive but you will have them forever. They are a great investment
Randy how is your back doing? it is a real pain because no matter how you move,it’s a pain!
lots of trimming and running around with this tree. how is your business doing? you and Jake
work so well together, very safe and funny! like how Randy hands off your saws when you
are in the bucket Jake, have you had your Cinnabon fix lately? it is so sad, we do not have a
single one left in the area. ! only mail order! great job! getting it down, and keeping up with
the grinding! plus emptying the trucks! take care and be safe!
Get yourself some 3/4 inch plywood to drive the chipper and chip truck on. Then you can put that chipper setup right in your drop zone. Save your guys a lot of energy dragging limbs around. Plus you’ll keep the mess all on one small area.
You should have put some guilty of treeson stickers on your truck.
Randy reminds me of the dude that plays deadpools friend at the bar
A septic tanker near me once had "I'm getting the milk later" on the back! Also I highly recommend a good small/short sapie/hookaroon for shifting those big rounds like that, really saves a lot of effort and increases efficiency.
Randy!!!
1890 that's my dream chipper. Big feed wheel motors and still under cdl
I love randy ❤ and his dog 🐕, a great guy 👦 💙 👍 and a good friend to 🌳 🏡 treason man 👨, I like treason, I mean 🌳treeson man 👨. You guys are awesome. So much fun to watch ⌚ ☺ 😊😂🎉.
Chainsaw petrol ⛽️ is usually mixed with 2 stroke engine oil.
Maybe Jake uses a special blend? Ethanol free anyone?
Also make sure you do a boom inspection every single job. You may have edited it out but if you do one religiously, you will notice any change and it could save your life.
Does Randy's new groundman trainee also run on Cinnabons? "stick! I gotta stick! more sticks!"
Are you able to do a video on how you quote a tree job?
dumping the chips? have you used chip drop?
So proud of you sir. Tell me you kept the car. Bet it was a great set up.
Hi Jacob can you drill a few small holes in bucket then would allow to drain the water in buckets suck man great video mate
I was thinking the same thing. If it has to be leak proof in case of oil spills, just install a short drain pipe you can close from beneath (so the bottom remains clear of obstacles).
If you drill holes it’s no longer insulated from electric shock in case of a power line arcing to the boom(hopefully never happens) but always a possibility.
@@coltonfowler4035 Only if there is something conducive in that hole (like leaking water), air is a pretty good insulator.
@@apveening True but there’s almost always moisture in a bucket because most of the time there’s some sawdust in there from cutting. Best solution is to be sure you don’t have any holes in your bucket cover.
Nice thing about clearing my own little woodlot is I can burn brush piles here as long as the Fire Hazard is low
I am just cleaning a 90’ x 250’ area of our 1.9 acre lot
But I do have one heck of a dangerous oak to take down. Too close to the house, huge, and on the west side
That’s why I’ve been watching and learning and planning for a year
I'd love to get that much firewood 😃😃
I got a 250xp bt4 Cummins turbo 12” beast
you should put the piece of plywood on hindges so you can fold it over the front of the truck to protect the grill
Hell ya!!!
Thanks Jeff! You rock!
Jake: "i really enjoy contract climbing i wouldn't want to have my own company"
Also Jake: Accidentally starts an entire tree service
It honestly happens like that. I'm in a different industry, but I really didn't want to be a business owner. Customers and industry folks kept pushing and now I work for myself with all the extra work that you have as a business owner.
Just tried climbing for the first time today holy crap what a leg workout
Man that customers has alot of work ahead cleaning that wood up
What I’m thinking is a spider lift would be great for you. On jobs that you can take 2 trucks to a job with one being big chip truck and chipper the other being another truck towing the spider lift maybe a second chip truck also
hey Jacob, have a metal fabricator make you a front addition to your cage that would swing up and lock into place for driving then swing down to protect your grill, headlights, etc. What ya' think?
Put some air helpers springs on the twenty-five hundred. I have them on my fifteen hundred, and they're amazing with a little dump body in the back. It's a pretty cheap solution. Make sure you get the onboard compressor, but for under a thousand bucks, it'll never sag
What size axe head do you use with your full swing axe handle?
