I just learned it will get below 0° F here next week too. Great... I'm going have to travel to Florida for work and make like ½ as much as here. But I will be warmer.
It's a pretty hefty investment that's for sure. No doubt you can find alternatives, but if you consider this a lifetime investment the price is a bit easier to swallow.
Given that Bazhad was also recently talking about Canada Goose, I smell a N&F-Canada Goose collab coming. Wonder what it will look like; goose-down-nep jeans?
I wish. A dear friend of ours who has a close relationship with the leadership at CG once tried to pitch the idea for us. It happened that they were already working on a denim collab with the company with the red tabs. I'm personally a big fan of CG, I've owned 3 jackets from them, plus I got one for Risa. My whole family wears them. Unfortunately for me.. I pulled out my jackets a few weeks ago, and my recent weight gain prevents me from being able to zip them up anymore... wah wah...
Lots of cool coat options in a colder location like Montreal! Here in Sydney it's mostly denim jackets in winter or maybe a light Barbour or non shearling leather jacket for the coldest month 😂
Sounds like paradise! The boys said it goes down to -30, it can actually get even lower down to the -40's!! And even then there is always that guy walking around in shorts, or some dude riding around in a unicycle..
It would be dope if you guys did leather patch cardholders, don’t know if the dimensions would work but that would be awesome you know what I’m sayin’?
I had two extra patches from swaps and saddle stitched them together. It was a bit awkward and took a while without all the proper tools, but it was satisfying to complete.
when i was first looing at belts, i saw the words veg tan leather and was wondering why there was so many vegan leather belts, i thought that was not right and did not make any sense vegan leather is s**t but i was relieved to learn that it was actually animal leather specifically cow and that that beige colour patinas over time

Yeah it's the same jacket. Interestingly enough I was also looking at this Jacket as I've out grown my own CG jackets and am looking for a replacement. I kinda want a vintage one with the old Snow Goose branding.
About 99% of people who try to measure the waist get it wrong on poshmark and say that they got that way from seamstresses who have been doing it for years, obviously a lie if yr measuring the waist with a 3"dip in the front so i just send them links to every site that explains how to do it the right way, and i lie saying i worked as a raw denim salesman saying i was instructed to tell people to measure that way. I just don't understand how it not common sense. But im a little more mechanically and geometrically minded. There's a reason ive been making thinks out of flat sheets of metal for 12 years.
The hat comes from a local brewery, Beaus. I picked mine up years ago when I visited during a road trip. If you make your way up here I'm sure you can check them out to grab one of your own. - terry

I've made one for myself. It does work! I have a staff ID and 4 or 5 business cards stuffed in it.
Make the card holder a patch?

Shearling and wool are just too itchy for me, I prefer moleskin! Would love to see you guys come out with some kind of moleskin-lined jacket!
