Microsoft should not buy SEGA. However, they should have a partnership with them. Microsoft should have sold Tango Gameworks to SEGA instead of shutting down the studio.

I doubt it’ll happen Japanese games barely sell on Xbox. Japanese games sell mostly on Nintendo and Soy platforms. RPG, fighting and adventure games sell on Nintendo and PlayStation. Sega won’t give it up to Microsoft.

Micosoft is a cancer to game industry. Whenever they gonna buy Sega, they'll get shutdown along with Atlus. Everytime I see Atlus games trailer with only Xbox logos without mentioning other platforms, it always makes me sick. It's also sickening me that Spencer clown is overly obsessed with Japan and all the sudden never cares about it anymore, mostly due to Tango being shutdown as well. Hell no. Microsoft has bought enough. I was okay with Zenimax and Activision, but it's about time they stop trying to grow and actually start working with what they have. So far they seem to be without a clear vision, and I'm still not too happy about the closure of Tango Gameworks. They need to get their heads out of their asses and make my Xbox Series X worth the $500 that I paid, because as of now it still feels like it was a waste of money to even step out of the previous generation of gaming. And that goes for Sony too, not just Xbox.
Personally I want Sega to stay independent. If they do get bought, I'd rather it be by Nintendo. I would've been okay with Microsoft buying them if they didn't already just gobble up Zenimax and Activision, but come on now--enough is enough, just start making some damn games for the countless dozens of properties you now own since the last few years, and quit showing us that maybe you didn't deserve them in the first place by shutting down studios after only a few years for no good reason.

What's ironic is that Sega lost money due to the Game pass deals they had with Xbox. Putting like a dragon & persona games day one killed Sega revenue. 40 % of gamers have both PlayStation and Xbox consoles, even a PC. PlayStation Day one Persona fans stopped buying the games on release but play it through Game pass. then wait for black friday sales to get it for their collection.

The Sega I know and loved is 75% gone. Besides Sonic, virtually none of the past franchises that I like have returned. I'm not a fan of the Yakuza or persona games.i want to wait and see how the rebooting of the old franchises works out before I weigh the pros or cons of a Sega sale.
