These were real proven, ambitious Actors...Stage, Broadway, Shakespearean & Movies. They were serious about their Craft. Even with the LIVE aspect of this show..They performed & stayed "in character." Professionals.

Barnabas is about to be staked by villainous "bitch-witch" Angelique, but he rises from the dead at the mausoleum & strangles her. Again, she died (only temporarily). Poor Josette always keeps thinking that Victoria Winters is a witch. Victoria is still being incarcerated until her trial. Barnabas promised to Josette that he would see her again. Sarah always keeps being anxious to see Barnabas again & yet she just met him at the mausoleum. Then she ran away.

Are all the women in this film stupid? Angelique thought she could destroy Barnabas, but he got her, and killed her. Josette thinks Victoria is a witch, and that she killed Barnabas, and refuses to listen to reason. Victoria showed off that book of the history of the Collins family, and now those who have seen the book, and read it, think she is a witch, and Josette is threatening to use the book in court against Victoria. Stupid, Stupid! But I guess it's the writers who made them so stupid. SIGH! Poor Barnabas is a vampire now, and has woken up in a very foul mood! He's not thinking straight, either. SIGH! The irony....star-crossed lovers Barnabas and Josette on opposite sides of the matter of Vicki's guilt or innocence. Barnabas knew Vicki was innocent, but before he could help her, Angelique cursed him and he dies and rises as a vampire. Josette becomes convinced of Vicki's guilt after reading the Collins Family History Book and after Barnabas dies (which the book failed to predict). Josette aligns herself with Trask in Vicki's destruction when in life (and afterwards) Barnabas saw Trask for the fraud he was. Angelique knew it too, hence it was easy for her to set Vicki up as the fall guy, or rather the fall woman in this case. Another irony....in the B/W episodes, Josette's ghost appears to aid Vicki when Matthew Morgan was holding her hostage, and she also warned Vicki about Laura's true intentions concerning David. Now as a living, breathing human being, Josette now has become Vicki's enemy and lives to see her hang.
That's a cruel way to wrongly proved and wrongly convict her that she's guilty of being a witch. That is that as an omen in prophesying of what's tragedy is going to take place as back in the future, it's not her fault but your fault that you've did not listened to her warning of the tragedy is going to take place back in 1795 by showing this in the history books. Instead be appreciated after in listening to her warning. You've even as instead accused her as of as in writing this in history books, that is the cause of causing all these tragedies to take place, rather you've believe her of not. What if Victoria Winters that will not told you of told anything of what tragedy was going to take place????!!!!!!!!!! And y'all where to going to find out the wrong way as still that Victoria is still responsible for all the tragical omens that would take place????!!!!!! I was a huge Dark Shadows fan. I thought the new movie was hilarious because it totally nailed all the character. And, seriously you guys, does anyone know why Frid had such a hard time with his lines? Drink?
@@DocSeville hey had way more lines that anyone else and not much time to memorize them. If you watch closely you will see many of the actors glancing at the teleprompter 😂😂
I never appreciated how well done this show was when I was young.Really enjoy these programs.

She was injured but didn't die, she probably passed out from the pain!
