Oh my god. It has been SO long since you've done a transition into a real song during a With Lyrics. The last one I can remember is all the way back in Ghost's and Goblins With Lyrics when you started doing a parody of Thriller, so this random Hotel California parody ubercharged my nostalgia.

First Game: Luigi wins a sweepstakes he never entered. Second Game: King Boo ducks with Luigi's friends. Third Game: Luigi can't take a vacation. I'm starting to think that King Boo focuses on luring Luigi with the only one thing that works: A promise of luxury, good food, and fun. At some point Luigi is going to be so paranoid that the next game is just going to be him in therapy except the therapist is King Boo. That or King Boo is just gonna lure Luigi with a donut hooked on a fishing rod.
In the second game as someone else said Luigi didn't know King boo was there it was Egadd that pulled him in to sort the problem out for him. Luigi already stopped king boo in the first game and that would have been the end of it but Egadd wasn't able to keep king boo contained he literally sold the king boo painting thats how he got out. And the 3rd game Helen gravely rescues king boo and releases all egadds ghosts. Honestly I put all blame on Egadd
Two things: 1. I loved the reference to Hotel California in the Chorus. 2. I think Luigi has a skin allergy to ectoplasm. So next time he goes somewhere and his butt starts itching, that’d be a sign to not stick around for nightfall

I just wish the game wasn't difficult for me the only issue was the part with the ceiling leveling i never cared for puzzle strategy and on top of it being timed as well :/

Im going to speculate about the Hotel itself. I think the Hotel may have once just been a rich people's getaway from a long time ago, the hotel even in it's haunted form has some fancy rooms, and it is in the middle of some gorgeous scenery. The hotel is also not just some place to stay it is also THE destination as each floor has something that people would want to see, hence the Egyptian place, the Museum, Medieval show, the pirate bay beach, these are things people would be interested in seeing. It probably fell apart because obviously Hellen Gravely, the owner, died. The hotel was then abandoned by the living and inhabited by ghosts, some taking the floors of what ties in to when they were alive (Egyptian, Caveman), or what they did for a living (Mall cop, Film maker).
3:44 I still don't get why they don't DODGE that. Mario could easily grab Peach and Jump out of the way. Shadow Mario could still do all of Mario's Moves while carrying Peach in Super Mario Sunshine after all. Also, Good thing that Polterpup pulled Luigi away or the side of the Painting would have made him go splat.
In terms of the backing track, that clarinet is absolutely masterful. It adds so much personality, and it's a fantastic addition to the soundscape. I could listen to the clarinet bits all day.
Love the E Gad small rap section , reminded me of Thief with lyrics. The Hotel California part was great. All these new songs gave been great. Thanks for the new music.

This is really well done! All the melodic themes blend so seamlessly that you barely notice the transitions unless you’re really looking for them. Time to rewatch 20 more times!
