Taroko National Park: Taiwan's Magnificent Natural Wonder in One Day | Taiwan Travel Vlog Part 2
Вставка
- Опубліковано 16 чер 2024
- We set out on an exciting journey from Taipei to Hualien to see the most beautiful park in Taiwan: Taroko National Park 太魯閣國家公園. Though our time in this city was limited to just a day, we couldn't pass up the chance to visit this spectacular gem. However, getting to the famous spots isn't easy. Public transportation options were limited, and most visitors opted for guided tours that we were too late for. Undeterred by the uncertainties, we decided to take a leap of faith, holding our train tickets close and venturing into the unknown.

Our day trip was only a success because of the warmth of the Taiwanese people again. Sometimes, the best memories come from stepping outside our comfort zone.

We also considered Klook's private charter services but we were too late.

One of the best things about traveling is meeting and learning from the locals, and getting to know their culture. But oftentimes language is a huge barrier. Taiwan was a special experience for me because I could speak the language, making it easier to connect with the people there. Can't wait to visit again!
很棒的太魯閣影片~ It's a great vlog for introducing Taroko.
Thank you!! :D
You have high quality and beautiful footage. Love it!
Thanks Sheryl!! Looking forward to new videos on your channel 😗
Love your Taiwan content! Hope to see you back here soon!
Thank you!! 😊 Hopefully next year!!
Really nice video!!! Ricky and I both like it a lot! ❤
Thank you so much!! Glad you guys like it!
I love how the spontaneous adventure turned out so well! Would love to make it out to Taroko National Park
Thanks!! Me too 🤣
Always wanted to visit Taroko but felt like I need more time. Def gonna try doing a one-day trip there next time going back to Taiwan.
Definitely worth it still!!!
I didn't get a chance to go to Toroko National Park when I was in Taiwan, but I would love to go! It was one of my bucket list, but didn't have time to go. I will sure hit up Allen for my next visit! Great video as always!
Nice!!! 😆 I think you’ll enjoy it 😀
Drone shots are sick 🤩
My drone footage supplier & the air2s did a great job!
3:27 reminds me more of Napoli coast😅 beautiful views!! I enjoyed it more than Caminito Del Ray 🤭 I loved the story telling in this one! Can’t believe we got so lucky!!
Kinda!!
Yeah... I agree LOL. I would say it's easier to get to too than caminito del rey LOL
I’m shocked this doesn’t have millions of views so good rt
Thanks you're so kind hehe 😊
Lovely trip and pretty good memory😅
It really was! Thank you 😆
Good tip on the better train station to catch a driver!!
Also OMG that bento is so cheap!!
🥲 Yeah for sure only the locals knew which station to head to!
Is there is any other option get helmet for hiking? Like tourist point or something? (or only these lovely taxi driver can give it?) By the way, thanks for info, useful video for planing solo trip to Taroko Park :)
You actually pick it up at a stand on your drive in! That's where our taxi driver got us the helmets too. It's should be free for all visitors. It's here on Google map: Zhongbu Cross-island Hwy, Xiulin Township, Hualien County, Taiwan 972
6:59 can totally see you yelling WILMAAA 😂
You can hear what I actually said in the next video😆
Hello! I am a reporter from FTV, because today I have news about the Taroko earthquake. I want to introduce that Taroko has many magnificent beautiful scenery, which attracts tourists. I saw that your introduction video is very detailed.
Can I borrow some footage from you for news use? We will mark the source of the footage! Thank you
Sure, as long as the source is labeled :)
Haha! I always love travelling without itinerary!
PS: Allen gonna be busy from now on. ;-p
How do you deal with uncertainties!! Especially when it's so rural hahaha I was not ready to walk for hours🤣
I hope so!! I need to get the captions translated so I can send the video to Allen too🤪
@@StephanieLin For me, I tend to stay someplace strategic and explore the area around it slowly. Meaning any point should be able to get home by walking for a few hours in an emergency.
Then move to another hub, and do the spoke exploration again. Give myself enough time as well. Usually, 3-4 days per hub.
For example, I once walked half of Osaka on foot after dinner just to explore and reached the lodging for 3 hours at midnight. And got to really take in all the real Osaka town and street life along with it!
@@StephanieLin Oh come on, you don't have to do that. He can switch on Caption with Auto-translate.
The most is you teach him how to switch the translated Caption on.
Use your time wisely. Such as getting another video done! ;-)
😎❤️🇹🇼‼️
What lens do you use capturing the video?
This video has a mixture of Canon, Sony, some DJI Action 3 & DJI drone footage 😆
But back to your question, it was rf24-70mm f2.8 for Canon & 16-28mm f2.8 for Sony. Hope this helps!
@@StephanieLin thanks 🙏
@@StephanieLin awesome
Hope you don't mind sharing the cost for Allen's services. Thanks 😅😊
Of course! I've shared in a few other comments.
I think we paid around $4000 NTD including tips for about 4-5 hours. We were picked up from Xincheng Station and dropped off at Hualien Station.
You might be able to get a better deal if you negotiate with him beforehand. We were very last minute and desperate lol
@@StephanieLin Thanks for the info.😆
How don’t you guys have millions of followers
🤣🤣🤣
im serious this is good af
@@StephanieLin
Would you say that it's easy to get a private hire driver via most hotels in Hualien city?
I would think so!! I think it should be as easy as calling a taxi...🤔 It's just that you'd have to go with whoever they referred
i was there my junior high graduation tour
That’s a long time ago 😆
Hi :)
Did u had to register your drone before entering Taiwan ?
I think Andrew registered his drone but you can ask him directly @CreatorDrews. Btw, love your channel! Your shots are BEAUTIFUL
Where r u from?
I was born in Taiwan but moved to the US at 9!
Does Allen speak English? And do you mind sharing how much he charged you guys?
I don't think he does, but I think if you communicate with him via text first he might be okay!
If I remember correctly, we paid $4000 NTD including tips for about 4-5 hours. We were picked up from Xincheng Station and dropped off at Hualien Station.
You can most likely get a better deal if you negotiate with him beforehand. We were very last minute and desperate lol
@@StephanieLin thank you for all the details! That's not a bad price considering your circumstances haha. I was just worried as my mando is not very fluent but I think I'll be able to manage.
Do you have Alan's Phone #?
