A DNF is always tough but sometimes its the right decision. I ran Amsterdam for the first time on Sunday. Great crowds in the city and loved the start and finish in the stadium. Cant lie - I didn't enjoy the stretch down the Amstel - it was just too narrow and overcrowded making it difficult to maintain a consistent pace. Ran out of gas a little at about 36K but got the job done in the end. Thanks to all those in Amsterdam who came out and supported - it made a big difference. (PS - Loved the sponges at the water stations 😄)
@@AlexFilitti Absolutely you can be! Totally understand you wouldn't let the opportunity of doing Berlin Marathon pass by. Just wasn' t ideal timing of course.
Beautifully filmed and edited!
Thank you very much for the nice comment.
Congratulations Andy! Early morning wake up is paying off.....

DNF always a hard decision, but one I think is best on your body, well done 👏
Thank you, tough decision indeed
Yeah, this was a bit unfortunate with Berlin only 3 weeks before...
Indeed. But I am proud that I tried and gave it my best
