I have run this machine for about 3 yrs now. I am watching your video and I assume you have figured a couple things by now. 1) ditch the mesh screen. 2)keep the top on! And uncap in to it. Thats what the spike on the top is for. My dumping large amounts in at a time you wont get as much honey from it. By uncapping in to it you spin one frame at a time and remove more honey. It also qill allow the machine to rebalance with every frame. You can usually uncap 15+ supers before having to empty it. Also dont be afraid to let it run for 8 hrs at the end to get the last honey out. Thats what it was designed to do. You will usually get 10 gallons of cappings each time you empty it
Hi, nice video. I'm considering purchasing the Maxant Junior Spinner. I harvest honey from log hives in the forest, and it arrives at my processing facility as crushed comb. I plan to melt it with a melter capable of handling 500 kilograms in one batch at 49 degrees Celsius. After melting at this temperature, I would obtain 325 kilograms of separated honey and a 175-kilogram honey-wax mixture. I aim to use the Maxant Junior Spinner to separate the honey from the wax. If I proceed, how much time will it take to separate the melted honey-wax mixture of 175 kilograms?
I can't imagine what you thought was going to happen dumping 5lbs of wax in there at a time 😂😂😂 These are designed to take small amounts dropped directly in the middle. I will say, I did enjoy watching this video. But this is why companies have to build such long instruction manuals because they can never guess how many ways people will attempt to incorrectly use their machines.
How my frames did you use to get the wax? I let my capping drain in the de-capping tank for a few days. Than I let the girls clean the wax. Almost like open feeding . It becomes very dry and powdery. . Great video
it was all my supers not sure how many, but when you spin it it really gets out the honey and it seems like you get less wax, i have a video coming on melting it you will see how much i got about a half bucket of cappings
