Nice video ! I like that windshield bracket. That is wild how your AltRider skid plate was already cut at that angle. Yours must be a later version and they changed it. Thanks for sharing
WOODZMAN ADVENTURES maybe, but I received all my Altrider stuff before they actually hit their website so I’d be surprised. I was part of their R&D. Either way no complaints here hahah! Thanks for watching.
@@backcountryadvmoto Hi! I have a 2018 model, but losing air pressure at 10% per week! Never gone offroad, just tarmac. My spokes look somewhat corroded though. I took it to Honda, who confirmed the deflation rate. We replaced tubes, and still happened to deflate. They are now ordering new tubes from Japan! Putting all tubes in a water bath, they don't show any leaks... It feels like I'm going insane! These tyres were supposed to be much safer to take the bike around the world, but I'm starting to get scared just to take her out for a weekly ride! Honda wants to tell me it's perfectly normal for tyres to lose pressure... but 10% a week seems crazy to me. I have owned many bikes before, and never ever faced such a high rate of deflation. The next thing I'll do is ask Honda to replace the rims. Any thoughts?
Marius Smith it is known some factory Honda wheels have defective spikes and Honda has warrantied this in many cases. I would suggest taking it to your dealer and seeing if they will work with you. If not I highly suggest going with Woodys wheel works wheels. In my opinion they are the strongest in the industry
@@backcountryadvmoto thanks for your reply mate. It just feels wrong to fork out cash on a brand new bike if this can be solved. Will keep you guys updated on their response though. Cheers, Marius
A simple tip-over in some rocks broke that right foot peg bracket on my bike. Needless to say, when I ordered the replacement bracket I also ordered a Camel brace. Hopefully that solves the problem moving forward.
Sid Shelton That’s a hard one, adding the protection obviously adds weight but removing the rear seat, going with lighter wheels and stuff like that also cuts weight. I would guess I’m probably 20 lbs heavier than stock. Haven’t decided on exhaust. Weight wise most exhaust only save you about 3 pounds and maybe give you 3 to 5 more horsepower at most. As far as money into the bike goes it’s honestly not that much because I have been fortunate enough to work with companies with their R&D as well as produce videos in exchange for products and or discounts.
Sid Shelton very true! I love the akrapovic. That’s probably my favorite sound, but if I were to do it I’d want the full system. Then I’d need a fuel management system and by the time you add it together, we are talking close to $2k
Sid Shelton your right you don’t have to, but I also have uni filters. I’ll tell you from experience, that if you modify the intake and exhaust without changing i the fuel, you will feel a loss of power. If I’m going to do it, I want to get the full meal deal
Kyle thanks for the video... looks like great products... I was also looking at your tank.... what brand of grips did you use ... or do you suggest....
Koso Apollo. In my opinion they are better than Oxford, and have a very clean OE look when installed. www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/koso-apollo-heated-grips

Marius Smith I think Honda will take care of you. Definitely try that first.

Where are the knee tank pads coming from?
czondag AltRide. I absolutely love those things!
Ballpark how much money in accessories and extra weight have you added to the AT? Also r u planning on a different exhaust?

Backcountry Adventure Motorsports yeah but there r some really cool looking/sounding AT exhaust out there

Backcountry Adventure Motorsports I don't think you have to get a fuel system with the Akrapovic. It's just recommended.
