Marty was a trip. A fun week of uploads featuring Marty & Steve Rossi. Enjoyed it very much. Look forward to more uploads of the retro Password in color. Thanks for sharing!
I wonder if after a few clues if he said moat for castle 🏰 ?
Steve Rossi was not happy with his partner.
These Password episodes are fun, but I would love for someone to upload one or more videos of Marty and Frenchy on Tattletales. Can't seem to find a video anywhere of them on that game show. I would love to see how accurately they answer the tattling questions, and their reactions to each other's responses. There are oodles and oodles of videos of Marty and Karon Kate, and while those are wonderful, I have yet to see any video with Marty and Frenchy. Are none available?
For pier, I would have said, "wharf" as a clue.
He Sounds kinda like Jerry Lewis.. .O.o
Allen and Rossi were definitely in the shadow of Martin and Lewis.
why is ''permission" allowed to be a clue for the word "admission?" "Unpure" was not allowed for the word "pure" yet "grandfather" as opposite "grandmother" is accepted. The rules are not consistent and even though I love PW, Allen Ludden is constantly making mistakes. Although I'm a guy, I hate when he just assumes that women don't work and automatically asks, "what does your husband do?"
He died @ the age of 63 (1917-1981) due to stomach cancer and stroke. Allen was 46 when Betty White finally said "yes."
It could be that he already knew the lady didn't work, and probably knew in advance of the game the occupations of all the contestants, and asked so the audience and viewers would also know.
