    Interesting though..the manuel says do NOT put the black(-) directly on to the negative part of the battery. But to hook to a metal part of engine.

    • @MisterMemo
      @MisterMemo  Рік тому +1

      I personally put the -negative (Black -) connector on the -negative post on the battery. Red connector on the positive post on the battery. My Toyota is a 1998, if your vehicle is newer you might need to connect it to a ground on the chassis. Please read your cars manual on how to charge your specific car.

    Based on your video, I just got exactly like yours. I just hooked up to the battery on my truck and the LED amber light (charging) is lid on but the green light for Fully Charged light does not flash or on . Is it normal. Before I hood up, I measured the battery voltage is 12.4 VDC. So still a lot of juice.

    • @MisterMemo
      @MisterMemo  11 місяців тому +1

      Base on what I know. If the Amber Charging light is On and the Fully Charge light isn’t Flashing or On at all it means that the battery is below 80% charge even tho you might still get 12.4 VDC. Once the Green light starts flashing then the battery is above 80% charged. once the green light is solid On then it’s reached its full charge capacity.

    • @MisterMemo

    Do you have to take off the terminals when doing this? Where do I connect if I want to use the ring terminals for a semi permanent solution?

    • @MisterMemo
      @MisterMemo  11 місяців тому

      I don’t take off the terminals off my Land Cruiser being it’s an older suv. Check your car’s manual to see what’s recommended for your car’s battery. Depending on the style of battery and its post and or extra post it might have you can connect the permanent connector there.

    • @cvnikal
      @cvnikal 11 місяців тому

      @@MisterMemo thanks for that. Some videos show I need to connect the black ring terminal adapter to a ground instead of the negative on the battery. Which is correct? I want to be able to just keep the ring terminals connected and just unplug and plug it back into the wall as needed.

    • @MisterMemo
      @MisterMemo  11 місяців тому +1

      @@cvnikal It all depends on your own vehicle. Older vehicles don’t have a bunch of computers like the new cars have. To play it safe I’d put the black to a ground and the red to the positive of the battery.

    Just wait? I have the exact model from Costco. And after 6 months all the lights are now off? Plugged into a good power outlet and connected to a 11 volt battery. Still no lights? Contacted Battery Tender and the warranty is useless? Need proof of purchase to get any warranty. Also after 90 days you must pay for the shipping to them?
