I took the opportunity to go on a bobsled ride on a Switzerland ski trip. The pros stick you in the middle and do the work. After the second turn, you hope the g force will end quickly. It was the best ride of my life!
I Competed in Bobsleigh for 12 Years, I was always amazed that these 50+ million dollar plus tracks around the world were all mine to drive.....I miss the Adrenaline :)
Didn't realize how hard these athletes have to train and do things for themselves. The European teams literally have full on NASCAR style pit crews. Our team is turning its own wrenches
That statement of european countries, that people grow up with it is wrong. I come from Switzerland and for sure the people know the sport, but you will find more a swiss wrestler than a bobsledder, so it is not so popular than you guys think. I met even earlier a swiss that train american football than one that is into bobsledding.

AMERCIANS no matter which sport they play they are jst SUPER CONFIDENT, THAT'S THE AMERICAN SPIRIT
