- The perfect camping opportunity presented itself with a U-Haul rental depot directly across from a campground! It just took a quick trip to Canadian Tire and a thrift store to get the van ready for camping and I was all set. It turned out to be a surprisingly appropriate vehicle to camp in for the night!

Only Steve could set off what look like a bomb in the fireplace and the very next thing we see is him sitting calmly in a lawn chair not speaking a word about what just happened... Love it!
It was legitimately a sparkler bomb without the tape. I was shocked he kneeled so close to the thing.

The part around 9:15 with lighting fire and Steve's reaction was pure comedy. There's this violent burst of flame and Steve shouting and running away, and then the next shots are Steve calmly sitting by the fire and introducing us to a pizza oven. This is hilarious man. Your videos are great.

My best friend Natalie was in the hospital for awhile. She almost died..... I couldn't afford a long term stay at a hotel. So I rented a U-Haul, so I could sit next to her, in her hospital room all day, till visiting hours were over. At night I slept in the U-haul, in a sleeping bag, in the parking lot of the hospital. Steve, watching you decorate the interior of the U-Haul added sweetness to my memory of a very tough time that I went through. Thank you.

OK I'm not sure what happened but we went from super humble camping behind city welcome signs and abandoned trains and isolated highway medians to glamping with curtain rods and a TV in an U-Haul, using large sparklers to start a fire, and a pizza oven in just a few videos. I LOVE IT. And like everyone is saying, anything you do in this unique creator space is watchable but all these extras are very welcome and entertaining.

I wasn't expecting such an explosion from 119 sparklers lit together. Thank God Steve is ok. The U-Haul was set up nicely and that was a beautiful campground too.
Yeah, I used to light bundles of normal sized sparklers and they never took off like that. I wondered if he maybe doused them with lightler fluid or something.

Used to make "Sparkler rockets" as a kid, 20-30 sparklers wrapped in a lot of electrical tape, goes flying, huge shower of sparks, good times.

@@daveh7720 It happens when a bundle of sparklers are put in a confound place, where the gases can build up and cause an explosion. We used to light them and put them in peoples letter boxes in the 90s when we were kids lol

@@braves96 Hang in there, ...sounds recent-mine was killed by the hospitals & quarantine in May 2020 , it still is really bad at times knowing her suffering was avoidable but there are good times to counterbalance. Oh my gosh, I am in the hospital with pneumonia and on oxygen, and when you lit off those sparklers I was laughing so hard my nurse came in to make sure I didnt need my.oxygen turned up. 😂😂 Thanks for the best laugh I have had since I have been sick, Steve! I drove past a Uhaul hire place today (no joke!) and said to the kids that if Steve can do it then we can try it too. I’d love to see Steve do a coast to coast (to coast?) trip where he connects with all of us to camp on our property, eat with our families, fish on our boats, sing around the fire with us and just generally Steve it up with us. I don’t know about everyone else, but crazy neighbours are welcome at my place too.

Steve, when you pulled out the sparklers to light I giggled. Then when you started wrapping them together i knew exactly what would happen; probably 15 years ago at this point for new year's, my extended family decided we would get rid of a bunch of sparklers by lighting them in one big bundle. Our "sparkler bomb" as we called it took a bit longer to go off but it was just as exciting as yours. Especially since we lit it in my uncle's backyard 🤣

I'm in Australia, my partner and I rented a van from Hertz and camped in it for a night. It was certainly an experience. Freezing cold, very uncomfortable. Oh and before you shut the back doors, ensure that you can open them from inside the vehicle!😂
Anyway, we left the van clean, they never found out that we took it camping, off-road 😂
That’s cause you are allowed to camp in it. And you don’t know how uncomfortable Steve is cause he plays it down for the video. This video is one big advertisement and he is getting paid.
Get some heavy steel washers. And a strong magnet for each side and see if you can use that to hang curtains on a thin non metal surface.

This was the easiest camping with Steve we've seen yet. No stealth, no troubles.

Perfect. Steve the college sophomore. A great way to reclaim one’s youth while he maintains his true self and sense of humor. Started wondering what happened to Steve since his last camping trip. Strangely enough, I watched a camping video yesterday by a Brit whose channel name is Black Crag. He went camping in northern England 3 weeks ago in the Lake District. I had to stop and rewind it a moment when he pulled out a beer and mentioned it’s time for a Steve Wallis Step 2. You’re a great mate, mate.
