2/3ds you mean ;-) To be honest, getting the vent window EXACTLY right is 50% of the chore since it lines everything else up. I have replaced regulators in two body-styles (coupe and FB) I am now working on a convertible. That is easily the hardest since there's no roof to line up with, or rather the roof needs to be adjusted WITH the glass to get it right...sigh.
They make kits for all 65-73 mustangs. If you just want the front windows you can order the fastback kit and it will just come with the two fronts. I have seen someone use this kit with a toggle switch. If the switch is up the drivers side crank works the drivers side window, flip the switch and it works the passenger. I have not done this but ti is possible.
After you have the motor installed and you wanted to check to make sure it worked before wiring it, what wires did you connect to run a test? Thanks for any help.
Hello I enjoyed video the only guestion I'm putting in a complete intieror it's a deluxe pony I would rather have the switch, the toggle type that the factory' put in to operate the window Just don't like the old handle look is there a upgrade Thanks Bob
Really good video! Just some questions: how did you connect the cables on the passenger side and both of the quarter windows and where did you connect the green cable from the relay? And by the looks of it, you don't connect the orange cable at all if i'm right?
all the power leads were ran together and connected to the relay under the dash. The green is switched, we used a wire we had run to the radio and no you do not need the orange wire.
Bill Tumas Thanks a lot! One day, I'll have my own mustang and most certainly install this upgrade! Keep making good videos! btw, can you make a video on how to install A/C if possible?
so i love that system using the original cranks as the switch, but i very seriously dough they make it for my car, is the switch available as a stand alone piece
I haven't installed one yet in a car with factory door speakers. The motor sits back and the speaker is rather shallow so I think it would work but I have never tried.
how can you do this on a ford f250 crew cab on all four windows??? do they sell kits for these trucks too or these can kits could be use on these trucks too??
+Cedric Williams Unfortunately there is no easy way to do this. The seats bolt through the seat platform so the best way to move the seat back is to cut the welds and move the entire platform back which is not an easy process.
Cut out part of the inner quarter panel? Ouch, butchering the car, no thanks. Also, if you can't operate all the windows from one location, not really much improvement over hand cranks.
Hi Al, Autoworks Parts offers a true bolt-in power window solution for 64-70 Mustangs, as well as an assortment of switches that you can configure however you'd like.
These guys make it easy to want to spend money on my car when it isn’t even running yet
i would never try this if it wasnt for this video, thanks!
CoolRaul did you do it?
Wow you made it look easy! well as easy as it can be. i have a fastback so its only half as hard

I'm happy I have a fastback, no playing with back seat/ interior panel parts. :)
That is bad ass. Great idea
Nice upgrade for sure.
Do you have a kit to create some factory looking buttons to control all the windows from driver side

Nice vid! I think the power quarter windows might be overkill, but do know of a way to have control of the passenger side window from the driver side?

Alex Crystos That is something we have considered and may do in the future
Nice, hope you'll demonstrate it ! :)
Would this work the same for a mercury cougar?

They are made by Nu Relic and they do offer the switch alone and they are splined for certain handles.
What is the name this color ? Looks great
Can the driver control all 4 windows?
I have a 1971 Torino wondering if this kit would work? Or if you provide one.
My 67 fastback mustang has the speakers in the doors. Will the speakers get in the way of the window motor?
I haven't installed one yet in a car with factory door speakers. The motor sits back and the speaker is rather shallow so I think it would work but I have never tried.
My kit didn't come with the rubber door loom for the wiring. Where can this be purchased? (Can't seem to find them individually)
Will a Crown Vic front suspension fit on a 64 Mustang Coupe will you please get back to me
I have never heard of anyone doing that swap, the CV stuff is usually used on classic trucks.
Do you need to use a relay per side or will one relay work for both on a fastback?
Cheryl Clemmer One will be fine for both windows
I need this kit for a 1988 Monte Carlo SS G/body. Do you know who carries it?
how can you do this on a ford f250 crew cab on all four windows??? do they sell kits for these trucks too or these can kits could be use on these trucks too??
These kits aren't going to work on an F250.
will this window kit fit a 1971 maverick ?

1220 dollars good lord
hey do you have them for a 65-66
Why??? They didn't even come with them when they were new. How dumb.
Do they make this kit for an 83 Mustang?
They offer universal kits but nothing specific to that year.
