I learned how to do this a long time ago when I would sneak out the house through the garage door, just gotta remember to reengage the trolly when you get back otherwise you'll raise your chances of getting caught.
How about getting it hooked back! I got the cord wrapped about bar it apparently released it and pulled out partially bolts. Is there a way to avoid access to garage from exterior by coat hangers etc. and again how to get it hooked back after emergency disconnect and if you have cycled door a few times until you realized the “rope” got hung up causing it to inadvertently disengage? Thanks worthy of content on these questions
Oh the spring-cutting gremlin got you too? I just pulled this handle thinking I could let the door down gently but little did I know how much work the spring was doing! SLAM. ...Well I'm not as vulnerable to theft now at least?
@@MalcolmCrouch I just pushed my garage door button..it went 1/2 up then I hit again it went down..apparently I'm not strong enough to lock it back no matter if I went with string toward the door or the box!
Let me put you in my shoes right now, The windows are all locked and the garage key hole is jammed there’s no emergency release there’s no way in how else will I go in also it’s all manual there’s no electronic part

Definitely need to fix the down limit. The door is really closing hard when it’s in the down position. That’s why it made that loud pop.

Usually pulling it the other way when it's lined up will hook it back into the trolly and you're good to go. :)
