Doing this will change the inside color of your smoker. I mention this because someone got upset with me because they did this and the inside changed to a darkish color. I mean that is what happens when you season a smoker/grill, but I guess they wanted the inside to look nice and shiny. Just saying...
I didn’t know that was all necessary but seems to be a good idea. Mine has gotten seasoned now from use. The first foods I cooked on it were quite dull. Now food is tasting better. I should have done this first.
Thank you so much I never knew I had to do this to my grill and now I’m testing it out because of you. Thank you

Just followed your instructions to the letter and I’m watching some lovely smoke coming out in the last 20 min stretch. Thanks for the awesome video!!
Glad it helped
Great tutorial. The smoking box was the cherry on top!
It's the attention to detail... lol
Nice job, great grill. Just got my 1st "6 burner" Monument w/Rotisserie.
Enjoy it

Yep... nothing starting on the right foot
Good job, makes sense
Thanks
Proper way, doing my grill tomorrow 9:05
Thanks
Is the process the same for the Monument NG grill?
Yes
So, you dont soak the chips?
Some do, but I never do.
Wth is the smoke supposed to do?😂
Give it a little patina
Spraying canola oil on the inside of my stainless steel monument grill ruined it - completely discolored now. I wish I never saw this video.
It's called seasoning it...
