This well-done DS soundfont remix really makes me want to see a Bloodstained spin-off in the style of the DS 'vanias. I find myself actually wishing that Bloodstained and Castlevania were more than just "spiritually" connected.
I love how holding up makes Miriam perform JoJo-esque poses like Jonathan and Charlotte I'm so happy this game did very well, I was scared after the other kick-started projects that it would flop!

You need to rip soundfonts from individual songs from the DS roms using a program called VGMTrans. It supports dls and sf2 github.com/vgmtrans/vgmtrans/releases
In my latest video, I actually wasn't able to find the synth used in Albus' boss theme from OoE, so I can only guess that the program I use to rip soundfonts has limitations with extracting certain sounds, or that it has streaming audio played overtop of the song. That missing clarity is probably a mixture of the samples not extracting at the quality from the DS and me not balancing the levels of the separate channels as well as the sound engineers. I also threw a light compression in the master channel which has a very slight effect on the dynamics, something they didn't do in the DS cause every sample is already compressed and all the note data has the perfect volumes and panning to reflect that. Basically, I'm very messy when writing music :D
Bloodstained isn't much different from it's predecessors. It literally copied and pasted every little thing that defined the Metroidvania titles. (But, it shouldn't be considered plagiarism if Igarashi took mechanics from the games he directed) In hindsight, if Konami wasn't acting the fool, Bloodstained could have been the next main entry in the series succeeding Order of Ecclesia. With "Castlevania: Ritual of the Night" being the title
I honestly would have force Igarashi to make Sonia Belmont canon and if he did not like it, well, a hardcore steel cage electric wrestling match might change his mind rather quickly in such a regard, and ditto for the Saturn exclusive content of Symphony of the Night.
