@@M613M Not true. Pixel art takes longer than 3d modeling. Because once you make the model you can make it do a lot of things. A pixel sprite has to have every single animation drawn by hand. That's my understanding at least. Iga actually gave an explanation I believe when he announced the kickstarter why they'd be using 3D graphics.
For now I'm just going to stick with a few Bloodstained tracks, cause writing these to midi takes time I don't really have at the moment. I really like the sounds Michiru Yamane decided to use in the PS2 Castlevanias anyway. Could be a good opportunity for some practice if you want to do it though, a lot of CV songs have a pretty steady rhythm so it's not too difficult to re-write into midi
Hello I was looking around the internet for voyage of promise from bloodstained ritual of the night as a mid file the thing is though that I am working with a friend of mine currently to make a Castlevania Aria of sorrow hack and I wanted to change the music and as I'm sure you are aware Castlevania Aria of sorrow uses mid-files but they have to sound a certain way for them to play correctly in the game and I was wondering if you would be willing to help me out I would need voyage of promise to be a mid file and I need it to be in the Castlevania GBA style. You will be credited for your work also if you would like me to send you a link over UA-cam for our forum please just let me know I have done a good amount of hacks for Aria of sorrow already and decided that this aria of sorrow hack need something different I realize that it needed a change in music and that's when I started looking and decided on bloodstained music also if you happen to want the link for the forum I can give you that my name on there is Xavier Belmont. I appreciate you taking your time to read this and have a great day
Here you go www.mediafire.com/download/vfc7jebepfia6lb/bloodstainedminerva.mid It's not a midi that you can just switch instruments around with though, I made it in FL using a bunch of different midi channels for the soundfonts and echos. Exporting as midi sets these all to 1 channel, all of them are pianos so it's a big mess
huh. let me take a shot at it. in the case it doesn't work for my purposes can you do a little digging on how to make multiple tracks export in FL? other than sotn all the other vania games are midi, therefore easily used as sheet music for remixes etc.
actually it imported fine. however you should consider using google drive, dropbox, or mega from now on. not only is mediafire shady and prone to viruses, it also shuts down old files. you should upload this to vgmusic.com, they archive game midi for future generations.
I actually meant they were reset to 1 midi channel, but the tracks are all still there. I guess that's only worth mentioning if you were expecting it to sound the way it does in the video, where I had castlevania soundfonts loaded into a few Fruity LSD plugins with each instrument on different midi channels. If you're just replacing the track with vsts or something it'll be fine, you'll just have to clean it up a bit
WHAT. THE. FUCK!? Why does this sound similar to the original!? I applaud you for this.
Bloodstained DS would be so amazing with Dawn of Sorrow style graphics. Not like we'll get the normal release soon. But totally worth waiting for it!
ecclesia is better
i´m in love with ecclessia
Ecclesia is better, but Dawn's style is soo good

Still waiting my man xD
Aaw, the Dawn of Sorrow brass melts my heart.
i like how youtube says the game is dawn of sorrow
Might have been the uploader's error
@@TheBanishedWind Bold to say error, and not conscious choice.
@@TheBanishedWind Actually wasn't me lol, I don't even know how to set that. Maybe it picked it based on the tags I set
@@HolyKrap92
Should be possible to correct the error.
@@TheBanishedWind If youtube wants to think this is a dawn of sorrow video, I'm fine with that
Voyage of Promise is like the best track in the game.
The unofficial main theme of bloodstained imo
Holy fuck this sounds nice and this is coming from a long time Castlevania fan. Make more of these ones from the other Bloodstained tracks.
Thanks, I plan to make more when they release full versions, as long as they sound like Michiru Yamane's older CV tracks
Nice, I get a lot of Dawn of Sorrow vibes from it
That remind me about the pinancle from DoS and the hidden curse from PoR
Added it to the forums and about to add it to my playlist. It's great!
Thanks! I forgot the forums had a music section
Xombie Mike A question. Where are tose forums? Im remsstering the ost for the DS games
Aaaaaand Mike never responded...
Better late than never: bloodstained.forums.net/board/2/music
Sure I mean yeah Dawn of Sorrow sounds a lot like what it is but I can't help but get a serious Curse of Darkness vibe from this song.
William S Sounds like Cordova Town but more upbeat
[D9] Brawks ooooooo
The Curse of Darkness feel is because the source's music (Lecarde Chronicles 2!) was inspired by Curse of Darkness.
Is it ok if i port this to dsvanias rom?
Yeah
@@HolyKrap92 sick
This remix's awesome great work
Soma Cruz is in the melody.
hey krap, what do you think about an abandoned castle DS version? the song itself is nice but I never felt the instrument set did it justice.

Where did you get the soundfont?
I used a program called VGMTrans to extract soundfonts from the DS roms
wahw that's so awesome!
Great remix!
reminds me to Dawn of sorrow
That sounds kinda like a Crossover from Dawn of Sorrow's Clock Tower and Curse of Darkness' baljhet mountains
Great work friend yo are the master and commander
This fucking rocks dude! Did you make this in FL?
OMG this is so great!
I HAVE FOUND WHAT I NEED IN MY LIFE
