Car Crash - Guy Fled The Accident

- This is one of the strangest events I've ever been apart of. It was exciting to see the wreck first hand but seeing the guy flee the scene was really bizarre. Thankfully no one was critically hurt by the crash. Things just got more and more strange when the female driver's father showed up. It took a while for the Henderson PD to show up since there was a pretty large fire further down Boulder Hwy. I stayed to file a witness statement and as always Henderson PD was cool, mellow and friendly.

This type of stuff makes me furious. Running a red light is NEVER ok no matter where your going. You can kill someone, that's how most accidents happen and ppl are killed most of the times. Today an idiot making a turn on a red light, threw himself onto my car on my lane, I had to slam on my breaks and throw myself into the left lane to avoid hitting him! Was inches from hitting him. This happens every other day on my way to work and I'm sick and tired of these ppl. I do hope that dumb girl gets what she deserves but most importantly that she LEARNS her lesson and never runs a red light again!!

Crazy. I thought i heard this happen. I was a block down at the 7-11 at Barrett @ Boulder Hwy but decided to checkout the fire since I didnt know where the sound came from lol he could of ran cause it was stolen or the gear he grabbed was etc. Weird.

Wow. This amazes me. Different people, different worlds. You live in California. I don't. Yes your a good guy for sticking around. But are you that same good guy in a different part of the US? Where getting shot In broad daylight is a real possibility especially when your minding someone else's business. Small suggestion for a future dashcam video. Go about your day. Bring your son home safe. Call the police from home and tell them you have a video from an earlier accident. Email it to them. My father would have said you were looking for trouble.
