Who could go wrong with a drummer and bass player like they have? Great foundation for their Surf music. I am glad someone is carrying the torch forward with this Fun type of music, that is also very danceable. I really dig Surf Rock.

I must have been living under a log. Just popped up on my feed. I love this group/band. They have a new fan for life. I been playing on and off for 40 years. Wish I was half as good. Love it.
They are backing Nick Lowe, who is touring the US with Elvis Costello for the next few weeks. I just saw them last Friday at the Greek Theater in LA.

Met D. Amis at the long gone Foothill. In Signal Hill. Without mask,and a couple 🍻 he said he was a roadie for the band. & had just arrived at the club. Corrected my pronunciation of the band name, and set up their gear. Once on stage I realized I'd been had, but great showmanship.
Magnificent 5!!! They are artisans, really good at translating melodies into guitar riffs and beat. I love their cover of "Venus" (Shocking Blue)
This was one of the last concerts I went to before Covid. Amazing show 🖤

Went to their show a bunch of years ago in Bethlehem, Pa. They performed at "Musikfest". We all had a great time, too. Cheers !

They are great! Although Daddy O Grande is doing much better, that is El Gregorio. As you may remember, Daddy O has a blue and silver mask. El Gregorio has a red mask, which you see in this video.

Our country is going to hell in a handbasket right now. All the Post-Trump garbage, Covid, and Republican cancel-culture! WE NEED Los Straitjackets and their music to put a smile, kindness, and feel good culture, back into this country! Good lord knows we need it!
