Just personal preference, nothing wrong with the unity. I just like the appearance and height of the overbore and the ability to use these kac sights I paid so much for 😂
They don't have them on their site just yet, but if you follow their Instagram they do have one in the work for an MRO as well as some mount for EOTechs.
What is the actual height? Sorry if you mentioned it I didn't catch it. EDIT: I look them up, 2.33". I played with Unity and liked it very much. Then I cobbled together some old risers and got up to about 2.25+. I don't have nods yet but I really like this up here because my overall body position is great. It seems faster and more natural. Now the thing is, I have this magnifier that I enjoy very much.. maybe I'll just get one of those old receiver length risers and put everything on it LOL
Unity has built in irons, which are nice but the overall radius of them is like 1 inch which isn’t very good in my opinion, the overbore doesn’t have built in irons so the $200 you spent on gucci kac sights doesn’t go to waste, I will touch on this topic in my actual review!!
is there a way to get a magnifier to line up with this optic mount? id like to switch to this mount so i can keep my iron sights, but i cant find anything on trying to get a g33 magnifier to line up with this optic height.
why not use unity tactical high mount?

Would be cool to see how they are with the new rds
The trijicon?
@@RedactedGear i think he’s talking about the aimpoint duty rds
Do you know if you can mount a trijicon MRO to this? Thanks again good video.
Probably not, this mount is strictly an Aimpoint footprint. Unless the MRO has the same footprint (I have not had any experience with the MRO)

what are major differences between the overbore mount vs the unity mount they look the same.

@@RedactedGear I tried using the irons they are not bad! For 5-7 yards distance that is
overbore systems is 2.33" vs unity tactical which is 2.26" and the point of no built in sight on the overbore
So a worse knights skyscraper?
A little different

I'd look at Unity, I know they have a mount for getting a magnifier up higher
Bro, while your camera lense off. Looks greasy
Its not it’s the led lights and the red Milwaukee tool and that stupid bag were messing with the exposure 😂
