I fucking despise the Rock Band pack-in drum kits, like it's a neat novelty, but it's so low quality and garbage, you can't play seriously at all with it, my kit that I played with back in the day had duct-tape on the outside and nickels fastened on the inside to fuck with the vibrations and calibration to prevent it from either not registering inputs or registering one input as fucking 8. Like they shoulda gone all the way and charged more for it and sell it separately so you can have an actually good sorta baby-tier drum kit that works with the game, or just gave up and invested the money into developing even better Guitar controllers. I adore Rock Band and Guitar Hero, I have literal thousands of hours in the games, the rock band drums ruined my life.
My roommate and I also bought an actual midi drum kit and hooked it up to Clone Hero and I finally get to actually enjoy a Rock n Roll Drumming rhythm game experience, it's so fun when you have a device meant for drumming and not a plastic piece of garbage.
