EarthBound Beginnings taught me to be brave and care for friends. EarthBound taught me to appreciate life and to enjoy it. Mother 3 taught me to be compassionate for people, and to love. I strongly disbelieve the same can be said for any other series, regardless if it’s a game or not.
i must say, that this bring me my childhood memories and for some reason i feel a little sad... It's a beatifull music indeed but also have a mystery power inside, or at least i can feel it because can change my feelings...
I still love how one of the original commercials said "Guaranteed Masterpiece" Even if that was no quite true with the first, spot on on the other two.
I enjoyed mother 1. Although you are right about the constant level grinding, it is also a great challenge, and the music is some of the best of the 8-bit era. The Graphics, although very simple (even for the NES era) are quite good considering that all the towns are on one map. It is strangely my favorite in the entire series.
This game is one of THE best ever! It is a very challenging game though. It'll put no mercy on you because the game just starts abruptly and there are no tutorials, and anything can kill you, even the lamp in the beginning of the game. But that challenge only makes it better.
Hearing this song that i have heard so many times in bit forms touched me even then but now to hear it brought to life it brings a tear to my eye...bravo good sir bravo.

Wonderful. However, I think this melody is even more beautiful when the part on 0:29-0:31 is played with an extra note - in other words, instead of the slow C#, D I would suggest D-C#-D. That's how it is played in Super Smash Bros Brawl.

@TheTLProductions12 Technically you can import the GBA releases of M1+2 and M3, then play the translations. That way you're supporting the series while being able to play it in your own language. It's also not too tough to get through the games without knowing the language if you want to play them on your Gameboy. Plus the scripts are written without kanji, making them easy games to play if you're learning Japanese.
No you were still on the mark. Mother 2 was great, Mother 3 is freaking awesome. Mother was meh to bad, (random battles occurring, backtracking like hell, slow level turning, the lack of amazing colors in which the sequels have, and a lack of varying score), compared to the other RPGs in the era and the future installments.

There was one copy made. Then someone found the LEGIT copy of it and sold it. then a leading game translator found the person who bought it and asked if he could barrow it so he could make a ROM copy of it. He made a copy of it, put it on the internet. Even the Lead designer for Mother aka Earthbound Zero. knows about it and said that is exactly what i wrote. and hes happy it got release finally. And even though it was never release by nintendo They must really not care lol.
Yeah, it hasn't aged well, but which NES RPG has? If anything, it's one of the better RPG's from it's Era (Haven't played that game, but from what I heard it's pretty damn good).

私の知り合いの音楽の先生が、マザーシリーズ好きで、Smiles and tearsを授業で使ってたみたいです。
2022年に危篤状態の祖母と面会した後に、帰りの電車内でこちらの動画のエイトメロディーズを聴きました。
すると、幼少期に可愛がってもらっていた頃の思い出が流れていって、思わず大粒の涙がポロポロと溢れてしまい…。
人目も憚らず車窓を眺めながら泣いてしまいました。
本当に良いピアノアレンジをありがとうございました。

この時代のRPGって剣と盾を持って悪を打つという正統派RPGが主流でしたが主人公が少年少女と言う設定で驚いたのを覚えています。当然その頃の自分も同じくらいのの子どもだったわけで。ゲームのキャラなのに彼らが友達のようにさえ思えてとても楽しかった。思い出はいつまでも残りますよね。
