I really hope JT knows that not a single Chelsea fan blames him for Moscow. He will always be Chelsea captain and we will always love him for everything he has done for us
Look at the beginning of the interview. Obi was sweating when talking about JT. I miss our captain so much. Wish he was part of the managerial team. JT26 forever.
This podcast was IMMENSE. Unreal insight by you and JT into all the success and stories of the legendary Chelsea era you were both huge parts of. Thank you for this and good luck with the pod Obi! P.S - Please tell JT to keep pursuing management. He clearly has tons of heart and qualities for it, time is on his side and the right opportunity WILL come along in future!
Nigerians should be very proud of this young man, John Obi Mikel. He speaks well and carries himself well on and off the pitch during his days. He's putting in his poten effort to be a good sport storyteller. He's worth listening to.
JT's take on KDB and Salah is just awesome, and shows his love for Chelsea. He said he takes the blame for the two not making it at Chelsea because he felt he should have done more to help them adjust.
The 2012 champions league was destiny. We were destined to win it that year, considering all that happened on the road to the final and the final itself. Plus, there were a lot of fighters in that team. Sadly, the current crop of Chelsea players lack that mentality. Nonetheless, we'll get there if we can keep this current group together, with a few addition. Big ups Mikel and JT.
I stumbled upon the English Premier League after overhearing kids discussing it at school. One evening, I tuned in during Mourinho's first season, and there was something about that Chelsea team that instantly captivated me. Despite being miles away in a different city on a different continent, this club and its players played a significant role in my upbringing. This show has sparked a wave of nostalgia for me!
Absolutely amazing Podcast. Im 43 and supported Chelsea since the early 90s so I've seen it all. I can safely say that John Obi Mikel is one of the most underrated players ever in the Premier League. John Terry is just a legend. It was brilliant to just listen to the guys chat like i was in the room with them and it made me emotional with JT talking about the penalty miss but also laugh out loud at the stories about Mourinho. Please keep up the great work with the podcast.
Thinking back, I cannot remember Mikel being directly responsible for any goal. That's immense. I think Mikel was a player before his time because his kind of 6 is more appreciated now that then.
@@jamesbarrett1878certainly not overrated. Underrated for sure. Considering every single manager that came in saw the value of Mikel, you don't have a clue what you're talking about. I actually think Thiago Silva has the same standards and levels of leadership and discipline as Terry. But you can tell he has no power in the team. They can’t even give him captain. I mean I love James but he’s not there yet. Let him sit under Silva and learn how to be a leader.
