- International Karate, composed by Rob Hubbard in 1986. This one turned out to be incredibly fun to play! Hope you'll enjoy listening as well. Watch out for the two places where new loops are recorded on the fly.
Requested by jonblast.
International Karate was of the first computer games I ever played. It was hypnotic. Now I understand it was the music.
Hubbard should officially approve this one. Completely amazing performance. At times, better quality than the original, because of the organicness, which makes it more disco.
Fantastica esecuzione in tempo reale! Bravissimo.
Che bei ricordi...
grazie a te, Rob Hubbard e naturalmente al Commodore 64.
I am beyond pleased this exists, you played it, and you play so well. MY gosh I used to finish this game just to hear this music (in the 80's) and then I'd leave the game running on my computer until it was hot enough to fry eggs just so I could hear the music over and over again (since this extended version only played when you finished the game) thank you thank you from a former kid in Brooklyn.
.
This extended tune was also to hear and listen to right from the start of the game. I remember hitting F5 or F7 to remove the Sound effects to record this tune properly to a tape recorder holding a mic to the Speaker of the TV Set ;)
Cool ! brings back memories from the golden era of Video game history
International Karate Master on Chipophone
The theme reminds me on "Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence".
Because Rob Hubbard was "inspired" by that one.
This is a strongest LIKE i have ever gave.. thank you for this cover!!
This should be tagged as an epic C-64 music live performance.
Thank you for creating the chipophone!
Huge respect for doing the whole thing and not just the first part!
I thought he might not even attempt the second bit, but he did and walked it lol
Even part 3 @ 9:08
I loved my C64, had it from age 3, I can picture this game just by listening to this awesome tune
my childhood right there..
Amazing. Brings back moods and memories.
two melodies at the same time wow, very high level sir!
This is fantastic. It gives me gåshud! (goosebumps).
6 years later, it gir også meg gåsehud!
Samme her
well true, i listened it again with headphones,,
I don't know what was best playing the game or just listing to you playing the track.
Anywho thank you good sir for this amazing piece of art.
This is awesome. Rob Hubbard is the original author of this piece. But the inspiration came from a beautiful melody by Ryuichi Sakamoto, who died today . Rest in Peace.
I like the part where he's playing chipophone!
Da sound masta playing masta song on masta sound device! I really want this device at home... Love C64 and composing gods of thist era! These have changed my life early... ;-)

Excellent!
This is the blood rushing through my veins. It's the essence of my life. I'm not even kidding..
And I agree so with you. I will really try to convey this to the younger nerds and geeks and of course kids in general, that I meet.
What amazing soundwaves, one of my favorite tracks ever too!

Wow!!! How have this incredible cover passed me for so long? You are amazing. Thanks for the cover!
I dare say this organ probably has more plays on it after the conversion than it ever did before. :)
Absolutely brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole piece, well done for playing such a difficult tune!!!!
This tune reminds me of 3.5" floppies. Awesome work!
This is awesome in too many ways
Now this is something I could not do in a thousand years... Unbelievable... WOW!!!
A modern classic ;)
Pure gold!
This is probably the best video on UA-cam
People, this guy is Linus Akesson and he is genius.
Synthesizer is made on ATmega chip, and Linus coded the firmware and the synthesizer's body is the old electrical organ.
Also he has more interesting videos about chiptune.
For me he is something like chiptune Aphex Twin.
no puedo entender como genios como este no tienen mas visualizaciones y mas suscriptores
De acuerdo. Este tipo es impresionante.
This tune is still marvellous, thanks.
Audial bliss!
awesome
Perfect ! 😉
Amazing performance!
Not having played the game does not subtract from the appreciation of the music or the strength of the score. Just let the music speak :)
Amazing music, it reminds me of my first c64 back in the 80's. Ohh..... It was soooo future!!!! :)

You have so much talent... and I have so little. Thank you for these videos!! You are Awesome!
I'm sure Hubbard would be proud if he saw this.
Amazing playing, very talented player, love these old C64 tunes, well done!
awesome! really awesome I am Speechless!!!!!!
The skill and fun in this are amazing! There are clearly many more themes from the 8-bit era that just wait to be performed by you, lft! (I'm thinking of "Monty on the Run" :D)
I really love how the electronics behind this come together with the great musicianship. The hardware, the software and the skill to play that thing - you have it!
This is awesome! I am in awe at the pure flexibility of this instrument!
Also, I would love to see Jonathan Dunn;s 'Robocop' theme performed.
