You have the coolest Bloodborne statues ever. Beyond jealous. I've been trying to get a Bloodborne figure and just can't find anything affordable these days.
Thanks ! Yes, collecting has become very expensive these past years, statue prices keep rising all the time. And the aftermarket is so expensive :/ Keep hunting on ebay, or wait for Gecco to release their next statue, maybe you'll be lucky and it will be around the 300$ mark (still not cheap I know)

Very sad that it broke, but am very glad you still pushed through and made lemonade. Doesn’t excuse what happened, but the best statues can sometimes be the ones that have your own personal touch on them. Best of luck with it.
Sorry to see that several pieces broke upon arrival and I agree that the ex. head looks much better. Anyhow, it's a great addition to your collection. The BB theme playing really make me want to get back playing again..

What an incredible piece!! Thanks for sharing this with us. I love this statue, I wish I had the money and overall the space for this statue. Enjoy it! (I'm sorry for the damage of the statue, if the seller dont offer you a replacement I recomend you to bring the statue to a specialist to fix it).

Wow. Amazing looking statue. Huge bummer about that breakages though. Really love the detail Prime 1 Studio puts into their pieces. I got my 1st Prime 1 statue last year and they are a sight to behold in person.

@@marlaoutatsgamingcollectibles I got Kat from Gravity Rush. Quite a dynamic and beautiful statue. Honestly amazed we even got that statue released. Gravity Rush 2 is by far the most under appreciated Sony exclusive imo.
@@Neo-Abobo I didn't even play that game or hear about it XD well that's what I like about P1, sometimes they'll dare making statues from franchises that aren't the most popular. But very beloved by the fans ! Nice that you like it !
@@marlaoutatsgamingcollectiblesIts a Sony 1st party game, surprised you're not aware of it. You could probably pick the game up really cheap at this point. Maybe consider giving it a chance one day. The series could always use more love, and discovering new titles is part of the joy of gaming 😀.
I love that statue elaine the crow is definitely my favourite character in bloodborne, sorry to hear about the breakage and the poor customer service but really good repair job nice work, hopefully its not too late to get my hands on one somewhere
I think Prime 1 studio still have some in stock. Unfortunately sold-out from Sideshow. Some local retailers might still have a few in stock too.

Oh man. As soon as I saw those feathers sticking out everywhere on the cape I thought "I sure hope nothing is damaged"... but wow, it was way worse than I thought. Also, Sideshow is fucking crazy. $120 for all this damage? On a $800 piece?! They should have at least given $200.
Yeah...and it wasn't even actual $$ but rather Sideshow credits. Funny thing is, they announced a couple months after that SS credits would now be expiring after a year . Thank god I already wanted to buy that Iron studio Ezio from them, because I would have lost all those credits otherwise.
@@marlaoutatsgamingcollectibles Yeah, that's horrible. And you buy a lot of stuff from them don't you? Terrible way to take care of loyal customers. I'd order directly from Prime 1 if possible from now on.
@@AdoreYouInAshXI Yeah but P1 shipping fees are just absurd. We're talking $300 + instead of $100 (to canada), and I think it's gotten even worse since then. Shipping on their Kratos showed $450.

Finally, my Eileen statue is here. It is awesome see the three pieces toghether, Eileen is very dark and imponent.

Their Shadow of the colossus 1st colossus probably
I love Shadow of the Colossus, that statues of Valus and Gaius are very special for me. I buy it directly from Prime 1 Store, they send me this week the first of them.
You buy all your statues in SideShow?, there should be international dealers of Prime 1 in Canada. That they had given you a solution to your broken statue.
@@panaero8917 Sideshow doesn't have the Shadow of the colossus statues. I pre-ordered from P1 but they emailed me last week that shipping costs were increased to $350. Asked them to wait until it goes down, but I am now thinking of cancelling and buying from secret compass.
It is a very big increase in the shipping cost. For me, increment 80$ in shipping due to the pandemic, a total amount of 412$ of shipping & handling. I am from Spain. But this is the only way to get the EX Version here, in Europe actually.
@@panaero8917 Yeah Secret compass is the regular only but will be much cheaper for me in canada. I don't care so much for the exclusive as the horse is really damn small. But I'd rather get it of course. I don't know... we'll see.
Sorry about the damages. Mine arrived today and it broke in exactly the same place as yours on the wing. The break is identical. Mine also had an additional break on one of the feathers and the bow on her left arm was also broken. I repaired it and its an amazing statue but they did not design the packaging very well. Love your vids. Take care.

So I bought it from P1 because I thought they would ship before SS and also to get the exclusive poster. Sadly mine hasn't shipped yet and I'm pretty sure I have to pay more for shipping. But sorry for the damages. I know that is heart breaking. Not sure why they don't have replacement parts. Makes me worried a little bit. But overall, she looks amazing.
Yes I know they have increased the shipping costs lately because of covid but it's supposed to go back down when the situation get back to normal. I guess you asked them to hold it until shipping costs go down ?
It sucks because we don't know how long covid will last. It could be many more months.
It sucks for P1 customers. I understand P1 not wanting to sell their statues at a loss because of shipping rates going up. I do believe them when they say it's gotten this high. I shipped stuff internationally in the past and BOY it is expensive.
Maybe they should try to find alternate shipping methods (other than FedEx) because this is getting out of hand. I hope they honor their shipping estimates in the future. I have an order for their Shadow of the Colossus statue with them (which seems to be available only from them), I also hope they don't increase shipping costs - which are already very high!

Luckily mine showed up in perfect condition. I also got mine from Sideshow Collectibles and it is the EX version.

yes :( International shipping for such a big piece sucks .... the arm is what hurts the most. But I'm glad it looks great now !

Nice review as always! I personally went for the custom 1/6 resin kit and having it professionally painted. Also I much prefer Gecco’s detailing even at smaller scale. This P1 Eileen is def overscaled imo and seems to dwarf the Hunter.
I think it's because of all the feathers that she looks so big. The size of the body seems correct to me.

Sorry for the broken arm, your collection is awesome. Are you try to contact with Prime 1 Japan?. That people are the best making quality statues and they should not allow this treatment to the costumer.

Sucks that it came damaged. Guess the way it is packaged inside did not provide enough protection? How did the feathers break though? That is weird.
The arm has a short metal rod in it but it still snapped. I can see why tho, there was no support underneath past the shoulder. As for the small feathers I know it happened to a lot of people. The big feathers pieces that broke in half tho. I have no clue. It was well packaged enough. Bad luck I guess.

Just got mine and while unboxing I had the exact same break to the wing/cape that you had. Like the exact same break....
I saw this video before my purchase and read some of the comments so I was aware this was a high risk piece to purchase. Sure enough........I heard things rattling in the box before I opened it and already knew there was a break. I got it from sideshow like you. Now I have to think about what I want to do about it. Part of me is thinking this hobby is just too damn expensive to put up with things like this for $1,000 purchases...
Doesn't appear anything else is broke though. So it's just the huge break to the wing, and some other little pieces that broke off.
Did anyone else actually get one where everything was fine? Honestly wondering if I should return and go through prime 1 since Sideshow doesn't have any more replacements. I'm aware of the crazy surcharge though because I have "The Hunter" on waitlist from them.
I know some people got it in perfect condition, some from P1, some from Sideshow. That's too bad tho. Plus the credits that sideshow offer is not enough imo.
@@marlaoutatsgamingcollectibles My box was beat up on the outside too. Some heavy tears/dents in the box. So I knew I was in trouble. I'll have to see what they say.

The cape/wing part that broke we spoke of. How has it held up for you? I have gorilla glue and I've used it before to keep a 1/5 scale arm in place and it's worked well. But that cape part has some decent weight to it. Did you do those repairs yourself and are you happy with how it worked out? I got the same amount of credits as you if I choose to take them. I'm on the fence whether to repair it myself, got to a person to do it for me, or just return it and have to go through prime 1.
@@DemonKnight85 That part hold up very well. I glued it myself with crazy glue. The arm tho, is a nightmare. But the cape is just fine, and not visible at all.
@@marlaoutatsgamingcollectibles Cool, thanks for the feedback! I'll have to make my decision by this Friday. Tough about the arm, sounds like you'll have to send it out to someone then. Even I am considering sending out the cape repairs to someone if I decide to keep it, but I wanted to see what you thought as you had like the same exact break. I did have some damaged/broken feathers as well.

Hey! I'm new to statues collection. How often does it happen to receive a broken figure from Prime 1? I'm hesitating to order a Nier Automata statue from them, but obviously I'd like to avoid paying this much to get a broken product in the end...
It really depens of the statue. The more small intricate parts, the more chances something breaks. Otherwise, breakages aren't that common. Their packaging is pretty good and very protective.
Looking at their Nier Automata statue, the one thing I could see breaking is the little robot thingy on the base. Otherwise, doesn't look too bad.

I used gorilla glue, but not sure that was the best idea. It's all I had in hand at the time and it hold up pretty well. The arm is super fragile tho. Maybe ask a statue repair guy to see what they would use ?

Yes that's right. We've hit a point were I'm starting to give up on some statues because they are too expensive. For example Kratos by prime 1 studio.
I love these and the other bloodborne pieces but Im just not a fan of Prime 1. The two only pieces I ever got from both came broken and they offered credits like in your situation, instead of replacing the statues. Ill stick with F4F

@@marlaoutatsgamingcollectibles I havent had any bad experience with them and I have about 9 pieces from them. Ive seen others tho get replacement statues for damaged ones...but im pretty sure thats only if you directly ordered from them

Wow. I'm going to take this as a warning to never buy from sideshow. Preordered this exact statue from them and had to cancel due to personal reasons, so glad I cancelled now.

Just watched the video, that is some absolute bullshit customer service. Im so pissed off at how they treated you. This is a nearly 1000 usd collectors item when u consider shipping. For it to arrive BROKEN should have close to full refund in cash. Not credits and CERTAINLY not just 100+ credits. I'm baffled. Is there a way for us to publicly leave a bad review for them to request for a deeper refund?
I agree it's not enough. I could always open a paypal claim against them but I am scared they would ban my sideshow account or something. I haven't actually received the points yet, I told them it wasn't enough and that I'd rather get an actual refund and not credits. But that's not part of their business rules. So I was left with the 120$ points or a full return, which is such a hassle given the two giant boxes, and having to call Dhl or the governement of canada (not even sure who to call) to get my taxes back. Plus I'd have to buy a new one from P1, shipping is $300 more and the new one might very well arrive broken too.
I just told myself I would take the points and move on . It's already all fixed. I'm glad with what I've got. I'll be more wary in the future of buying from Sideshow.

I think it's bullshit too. It's not even a partial refund, it's credits. Which means I have to buy an other statue from them to actually get my ''refund''. And we all know statues cost more than 120 bucks. All to keep me in the loop.
All they have to do is keep replacement parts in case this happens, its not complicated :\

I'm single. I work in the food industry. I'm also studying 3D modeling and should have a job in the video game industry next year hopefully !
