💘💘awe, Mother Mary (Our Lady)!! So precious! Just spent special time with Her~ There at the Farm.. :) singing to Her, being with Her and Him, privately. She is so precious.. They are so Precious! What a sweet treat, to learn of Her magnificent and abundant Heart She beautifully has for us, Her little children. 🥰Melts the soul/heart within! 🙏Thank You, sweet and thoughtful, and loving Mother Mary.
Thank you Fr Terrence, you really have a gift to explain everything in a very simple manner that makes it easy for us mortals to understand. God bless you abundantly.
It is best understood when explained in this manner. I find this online instruction by Father Terrence easy to follow. Thanks for uploading this. Hopefully this series will be completed up to the last mansion for the benefit of simple and ordinary person who can't read well.
This is very good and helpful. I need help to get all that I can from Saint Teresa’s books. Your bringing in the Bible and other Saints brings it all together. Thank you very much!

Recollection means placing yourself in the presence of God, recalling with your mind, with your thoughts, God's presence. God is omnipresent, meaning that He is present everywhere, and on top of that, He is present with His grace in the heart of the believer who's not in mortal sin. "Oneness" in a Christian sense means perfect union with God: union of heart, mind, and will with the heart, mind, and will of God. The sense of "oneness" of which Eastern religions speak shares nothing in common with the Christian understanding. Hope that's helpful.
@@fr.terrancechartier601 Thank you Father. I don't have any eastern leaning i have more than enough in the resurrected Jesus. :) It is the Christian understanding I am referring too. So based on your definition is being present to God the same as to seek union with God? Can I introduce one more definition to present and union " non duality". I like these ideas in my prayer personally because it help me define God's relationship nature. Anyway must return to the series. thank again, Carl
Dear Carl, The prayer of recollection is a type of prayer which leads to union with God. So yes, it's seeking union with God, but you've still got a ways to travel before getting there. If you like, I can send you a pdf (3 pages long or so) on the different spiritual stages with explains the different grades of prayer. We will eventually cover all of them in this audio series, but since we're moving at a snail's pace, it's going to take a while. You'd have to give me your email for the file, since I can't put the file on youtube. If you're looking for a good book that explains things in more depth, Tanquerey's "The Spiritual Life" is helpful; I can also send you Fr. Aumann's "Spiritual Theology" in pdf format, which is very good as well. Otherwise, if you do an internet source, you'll find both of those books in pdf format somewhere on the web. God bless!
Praying is being a friend with God. Funny how it is being brought up in movies that "praying doesn't help". As if being friends with God wasn't enough. Pride, arrogance and popularizing losing faith. Pray for the sacrament of discernment.
Thank you Father for bringing out her teachings. 🙏🎁

@@fr.terrancechartier601 Tnx again for taking the time. The pdf on stages of prayer would be very useful (mcfahy@eircom.net ).
