Im sorry, but who do you think you are kidding? The whole point of people 'scoping' is to be able to pinpoint trophy fish, no matter where they go, and be able to harass them until they bite. Most often in deep water, where they have very low odds of survival even if they were released. Try contacting your wildlife biologists and ask them to educate you about that ! Its already being documented that livescopers are devastating crappie populations. Many states DNR are already having to figure out new harvest limits , but they can't yet stop people scoping and throwing back dead fish. Especially In the form of delayed mortality. But hey, as long as you can make money on it, no harm. Right ?
I learned that pop many years ago fishing with two older guys long before LS winter fishing for crappie. 👍🏼
