There is one aspect that I did not understand in the rules. When it is said a section breaks off "to the adjacent zone the die is pointing to". Are we talking about the same d10 we have just rolled? Then 3 to 7 is indicated by the grid?
We play it that you roll the dice...leave them on the table. The d10 are pointed dice, so we move the section to the zone the dice are physically pointing to. But you can also assign each zone a number and use the number on the dice to indicate which zone.
Any scale will work. The important element is the base that represents a section...you can decorate it with as many planes as you want. We did some playtesting with one 1/300 scale model on a base.
