    You are such an Ambassador, the footage and shots you have are spectacular. The fishing boat with the stabilisers and the lights of the harbour & life boat. x

    I’m so incredibly proud to have relatives names on the side of that lifeboat. Amazing boat and amazing team of heroes! Not all heroes wear capes and fly… some wear yellow wellies and travel on boats

    Thanks for the great footage of the scallop boats and Whitby lifeboat most enjoyable, I love Whitby it never ages or loses its charm. Lovely sunset and the habour piers, quite at night once the tourists have left, a different perspective i guess, keep up the great work.

    Marvellous video, thank you! I was there too, taking some shots of the sunset from just in front of the Royal Hotel, so I'm guessing that you must have been on the pier below me at the same time!

    Hi Glenn. Terrific video. Excellent use of many levels of light. Especially low light levels. Well done that man. Just one small point, Lois Ivan is 13-49 not 13-33. Keep them coming Please.

    Whitby Lifeboat ? Isn’t that the one that fired two long serving fishermen that sent a “rude” mug to a crew member, I’m a single handed sailor who has yet to make “The Call” but would want an experienced crew to come if I ever needed it AND I would not care about a few swear words if they knew what they were doing.

  • @donnlass

    Yep just to give the Crews a headstart in operating 13-49. 😊

    When was that mine head suposed to be gne? I'm sure it's overdue.

  • @donnlass
    @donnlass 5 місяців тому

    You need Marine Traffic, just enter 13-49 in the search bar and it will tell you where she is.
    13-33 is Dunmore East's Lifeboat, 13-49 Lois Ivan is Whitby's Boat. 😊

      @thewhitbyphotographer  5 місяців тому +1

      I can't keep up. Wasn't 13 33 our lifeboat for a while. Or Scarborough's ?

    • @donnlass
      @donnlass 5 місяців тому +1

      @@thewhitbyphotographer No Scarborough's is 13-15.
      In fact 13-33 is a Relief Boat Bridie O'Shea, she must be covering for Dunmore East's Shannon for a while.
      She would have been at Whitby for a while training their Crews up to operate the Shannon. 😊

      Essential training for real life rescues. Not often they get to train under rough sea conditions, so every minute spent out there learning how that new boat handles could be the difference between life and death not just for those being rescued but for those who give their time free of charge to put out in horrendous conditions to save peoples lives.
      So no, you're incorrect, and quite rude. Engage brain, and think, before opening one's trap.
