I went there as a kid. This brings back so many memories. I still remember the animatronic chuck e cheese that was outside in a glass case in the wall you would see when you drove past it.
Any kind of video like this is always cool to see. I remember as a kid in the 90s driving down the highway and seeing the chuck e cheese building in Burnaby. I remember seeing the chuck e cheese character in a glass pane window (one of those odd recollections) The animatronics also kind of freaked me out as a kid.
This video makes it look smaller than it actually was. Then again, I was 6. This is the one close to Lougheed mall I went to as a kid. Only part of the parking lot and a single original light pole is left. The rest is now a sky train station.😓 look up White spot 4075 North Rd, Burnaby go sat view and beside it close to the sky train station you will see a very small cracked up parking lot with a line of tree's around it. That was originally part of the parking lot. sad they missed a large arcade on the upper floor. The slide at 1:09 keeps going up and had a view room with round windows. There used to be a tunnel that went under that stage
I remember celebrating my birthday their in the early to mid 80's when it first opened. It was an awesome place. I wanted to live there and play arcade games all day
I don't know why, I just find tapes and footage from these type of places in this certain time range interesting, it's just the styling of everything and how different everything looks
100%! I remember the Michael Jackson game, you had to save the young kids 🤣😬.. I also remember the crotch rocket motor bike game. Actually articulated. Wowzers
I remember I had a huge one like this in Bloomington, Illinois, too. It even had like these racquetball courts you could ride scooters on I think they just put that in themselves.

I Wish Chuck E Cheese's Stayed Like This.

@@CECArchives I was very dumbfounded back then don’t mind it
Thank you! It feels like yesterday. If they reopened on North Road again and didn’t change a thing, kids would still love it today.

No Way! I always wanted a Chuck E. Cheese location

I have vague memories of my dad taking me here once and I got so freaked out by the mascots that I begged never to go back again.

Does anyone remember when they used to have the "Beach Bowsers" (beach boys) here a long time ago?

This is the biggest Chuck E. Cheese location I have ever seen on the video
CEC TV Classics (the show featured here) had 2 Versions:
The United States Version was used for 1990
The Canada Version was used for 1990 & 1991
The Canadian version was only used in 1991.
