Literally the only thing RL has is common with this gamemode is the car models. The RL physics were already nearly perfect for a racing mode, but Epic had to change everything to journalist mode for the 9 yr olds. Basically a low-effort mobile game built into Fortnite.

@@demonslayer9306 Potentially they'll lose players but considering GTA 6 will be an 18+ game (therefore harder to get) and you have to actually pay for it, will make Fortnite still as popular due to it being mostly kids that play Fortnite (although i dont doubt that kids will somehow get gta 6 like i got gta 5 when i was a kid)

@@travisscott8481 I hate to say it, but I’ve never seen any game company update their game as consistently as epic has with Fortnite. I used to shit on the game for the same reasons everyone else does, but I can’t deny that I get so jealous for not having this around before. Sure I could hop on now, but time is so limited now

I was disappointed when i didnt see building in fortnite racing.
Imagine there are blocks to pick up in the course and you can build ramps and roads while racing to form your own path.
You can also use your block to build a wall for your opponents but they can use their block to dismantle that wall and also dismantle any path you make.
So its racing with emphasis on building strategies and reaction times. Like how the og fortnite did to shooters.
