Thank you, Dave. You really cleared up the Luminosity Mask for me.
Thanks Dave... I have Filmpack 7, got it with a bundle on black Friday but haven't really payed much attention to it. This has done so, looks quite cool, you've inspired me to try it out properly. 😊
Thank you Dave! I have had this piece of software for a while. I also have VSCO for mobile which now has a desktop studio. It isn't compatible as a plug in for PS. There is a one-way route to use it as a plugin with LR & LRC. I like DxO 7 a lot now that I see the capabilities of it. Since most of my editing is now on my desktop (thanks to you), I will take a deeper dive into this.
Thanks for this presentation! Very useful!
Thanks for this tutorial, Dave. I had considered FilmPack7 as a way to add realistic grain to my photos but I could not see any real difference with the grain that can be added with the Nik Collection 6. However, this tutorial rekindles a little bit my interest given the additional features of the software. Maybe I'll wait for a DXO sale; it looks as though your affiliate link is not associated with a discount, but I would use it anyway if I decide to go for it. Those comments aside, I find DXO to be rather frustrating and confusing with so many iterations of their packages and the need to keep purchasing separate modules (Pure Raw, View Point, Film Pack, etc). Thanks!
Thanks for doing this, Dave. I've been wondering what FilmPack is all about.
Very nice Dave. I didn't realize you could have multiple luminosity masks. The B&W emulations are really nice and that's what I mostly use with this software.
Does Filmpack 7 have a B&W emulation for Kodak Kodalith film? Thanks.
@@beniciomoldenado2315 I have Filmpack 6 but I don't see that one on the emulation list.
