I think it's his skill in pass pro. Also, they were kind of telling us last year how much they loved him. Kicking myself for not taking him more (or hardly at all) in best ball, but I'm glad I stashed a few dynasty shares
Early in the season after his first couple good week I got Kyren for Doubs straight up ended up winning the league with cmc and kyren as my two rbs in dynasty
@@davuhn2mitchell hasn’t produce fantasy wise and got injured. Achane has produced but been injured most of the season. The big problem with these small backs is their injury problems.
I think he definitely changed the 2023 fantasy year, but he seems like the outlier. He does not have the size to keep this workload going. He got hurt again in the wild card loss and missed about 4 games this year. Definitely not spending a 1st round on him in redraft. Great vid mason!
I think you touched on an important topic. Offensive play callers matter and if that play caller is the head coach it can make a huge difference for longevity

I’m two minutes in and he already missed that in Kyren’s rookie season he got hurt like the first game. That’s why it seems like he came outta nowhere.
He was a 3rd string RB miracle with Zach Evans ahead of him. Outliers will always exist no matter the model I say sell high the odds of Kyren being great for multiple years is even smaller then his breakout szn
Puka and Williams are not the only good late round players on the Rams but they're on defense so its over looked in fantasy. My point is McVays ability to coach is top tire for sure.
With all the historical data of no slow small RBs doing much, Are we sure we need to re-evaluate the model? Isn't this just kind of an outlier/Sean McVay always does these this with nobodies
I think Isiah Spiller is the next Kyren, opportunity with Ekeler probably gone and just has to beat out Kelley if they don't draft a guy high. The passing volume will be mostly the reason for potential success. Looks a lot like the same situation and Kyren and Spiller are very similar profiles
I def hope that Spiller gets ging, especially with prolly anf offensive minded HC in LA. But what weve seen so far is not good unfortunately... was pretty high on him predraft.
One team in my 12 team superflex TEP league had, Mahomes, Hurts, Kyren. WIlliams, Bijan, James Cook and they still missed the playoffs and will be picking at the #3 spot.
This is lazy analysis. But the way the rams have drafted day 3 players on both sides of the ball. Whoever they draft I’m willing to shoot my shot on them in rounds 3 and 4 in rookie drafts.

12 team, Sf Start 10 ppr .5tep bonus 1st downs, 40yd , 50yd ect. Made a big trade, I traded away Tlaw, Djmoore, TKraft, 1.12 for KWilliams, GPickens, 1.04, 3.05, 25 4th.
I'm contender Moore is my wr4, Purdy n dak , Andrews, Engram, n Henry te s needed rb bad as well
coaching and opportunity matters, theres no coincidence mcvay did this with puka and kyren
True
And Kupp and Gurley. I’m right there with ya. Play callers matter a ton
Kyren was literally my league winning running back and Etienne finally came in clutch too
I won with KMC and Kyren.

Kyren is the exception, not the rule. You don’t redo the entire model because of 1 guy.
What about Devon achane? Keaton Mitchell?
@@davuhn2mitchell hasn’t produce fantasy wise and got injured. Achane has produced but been injured most of the season. The big problem with these small backs is their injury problems.
@@davuhn2 they’re not the Kyren Williams mold, they’re small but fast. Kyren didn’t fit the mold cause he’s small and slow.
@@jackschmoeger2476 that’s the problem with big backs too. Breece is huge and tore his acl like Mitchell his rookie year. It’s just the position
@@devinzaderiko1525 kyran being slow was blown overboard. You can just Google and see he’s ran a faster 40 before

Tbh, the wildcard injury was a hand one. That can happen to every running back at any size, it’s 100% circumstantial

Kyren easily can be a 1 hit wonder and anybody taking him top 10 in redraft or dynasty is a nut job
Not touching him anywhere near that price point. His TDs will also fall off next year too
What we really need out of an rb is a bellcow
He was a 3rd string RB miracle with Zach Evans ahead of him. Outliers will always exist no matter the model I say sell high the odds of Kyren being great for multiple years is even smaller then his breakout szn
Got offered this in a 1QB PPR league. JT + Kyren or the 1.01 + 2.11. Leaning the 1.01 side for Marv but it's hard to say.
Kyren WIlliams got me into the finals without much help from my WR's
I have three second round picks. I think I am going to use them on RBs and try to get the next Kyren Williams.
Next kyren already in the nfl, and his name is Kendre Miller 🤞🫡
Pacheco and white were nice picks too.
Puka and Williams are not the only good late round players on the Rams but they're on defense so its over looked in fantasy. My point is McVays ability to coach is top tire for sure.
1 year wonders do happen in football. I’d sell him personally, but would draft him in redraft if he slipped a little
Traded Henry and 1st Rounder for Kyren and Fields
what should i be asking back for kyren williams
I have CMC traded for hall drafted and Williams last year FA to taxi. Yes I took 1st 💪🏻
Fantasy football never dies with us piloting this train. Woooo
Mason I still want a Hat!
Matt Stafford effect.
Pacheco and white are good examples too. Add in puka at wr.
Of what?
Pacheco is 5' 10" 216 pounds, and ran a sub 4.4 40. He fit most of the profile easy.
@@daniel-ym9un yeah I was thinking late round rbs not size. My bad
would you trade charbonnet and the 1.03 for the 1.01? 1qb leage

Would you do fields and the 1.08 in 1 qb for kyren

Dotson looked like he has some promise in a couple of the times I saw him play
Spiller breaking out in year 3? I doubt it, but I was wrong about Kyren
He’ll have a different head coach in there though. Coach may want “his guy”

I'm just completely fading RB in general.
Your gonna have to start somebody lol
If you faded RB you probably had a few shares of Kyren Williams lol@@shaharyar4093
Traded him for Aiyuk
You really need a better hat. That thing looks like it was taken out of a $3 hat bin.
Or off a homeless man.
Should I trade ETN for the 1.03? I have Gibbs Chase brown and Javonte at RB
Yes
This one hurt to make eh?
I picked him up in the offseason and dropped him before the season started so I think I’m tonight’s biggest loser
A garbage tier prospect/ scratch ticket RB hit extra hard. Who cares.
Just acquire a few at low cost and hopefully it works for you.
Still not sold on him at all...bout to see him regress down to RB 18/19 this year. He's going to lose people their leagues

Maybe this guy is just an outlier, like pick 199 Tom Brady, and not something that can be modeled
I mean every single day the dynasty landscape is completely different than the day before according to your videos 😂
