- Along with a bunch of new electric scooters and bicycles, Segway brought out the Super Villain
Hybrid UTV to the 2024 Consumer Electronics (CES) show in Las Vegas. It’s the first time the
U.S. audience was able to see it in person. The two models we saw were prototypes but they
looked almost ready for production. It will be interesting to see how hybrid technology helps
performance in the dirt. We should have a complete test of both machines by the end of the
year.

We love to see these ideas actually coming to market. Really hope it holds up and can progress with Segway making it even better. If the others don't catch on to screen adjustabilities they will lose alot of market. Myself I buy for performance, but screen size and functions sells the new generations. Hope it drives great!

I have a regular Villain and I like it. Great visibility in front, great ergonomics, nice power, great suspension. Its light and nimble enough for what I do. These 300+hp cars are for people that go extremely fast on dirt, which is kinda crazy sounding to me. I mean, I drive a Lotus7, so of course I love speed and corners, but dirt is just so easy to get into trouble! With time and practice I'd probably get used to it eventually and call my current self a P*ssy LOL
Chinese pro r i dig it. I really like the interior and the hand brake I wish the pro r came with a hand brake I had to buy a foot brake. Car is really nice my pops is waiting to buy one can't wait.
I have a 2023 villain very impressed with it..handles excellent very robust A arms and trailing arms, handles excellent low CG tons of amenities and a price of $16.400is a huge huge VALUE compared to a 24 XP 1000 ... Since I like it so much, I'm thinking about also purchasing this supervillain looks obviously very robust, i like the numbers, looks like it's extremely well made and yet nobody nobody ever talks about it having a tailgate!!. I've watched every video out on UA-cam and nobody even talks about it having a tailgate that's the first in the industry on a sports side by side lol also if you plug in the numbers of the standard turbo horsepower and torque as with the new Maverick R horsepower and torque and divide by its weight they are like dead nuts even in power to weight ratio, VERY IMPRESSIVE... While the Mavericks are is basically $45,000 I heard that Segway is going to release the turbo model for sub 30's ....once again, best value in a market!
How much for gas model
When is the release date? Im not sure what Q4 is.

Does it have a CVT or something else?
6-speed manual/automatic automotive style transmission. No CVT or belt.
Not sure if I love it or hate it, but it's different.
Ditch the Hybrid part and I would say it's a great looking machine and looks to be pretty stout looking but the hybrid part is making it way to heavy but good looking machine 👍
Better looking than a RZR in my opinion
I'm just excited to see a new serious competitor with new ideas. But I won't buy anything till I see it climb Oldsmobile hill including hitting the whoops at the bottom.
Thank You for the tour of the Super Villain ! What an Impressive machine ! Polaris and CanAm finally have a rival worth noting. Maybe a 4 door model in the future ?
I’m sure they will sale just for the fact someone can say they have a hybrid. But weight to power ration not impressive at all.

Really? The hybrid super has a wet hp/wt ratio of .103hp/lb, The polaris pro R has a wet HP/wt ration of .100hp/lb, The Can Am Maverick R has a wet HP/Wt ratio of .105. And you have to note that the Mav R is the absolute base model, no roof, no winch etc, items that are already included on the segway weight sheet. Add in a roof and winch, the Mav R wet weight is probably close to 2325lbs. 240/2325= .103
@@BUGZ2OO2 that is a good point just so much more weight to deal with if something happens in the woods trying to get it unstuck. I’m already in the works on getting the 23 villain i think it’s a well built sxs . We will see how much the new cage lowers the weight .

yea, the less junk and more power is what I want in an offroad vehicle. Less barbie electronics and more towards paddle shift transmission.
I'm guessing like 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds That's my guess.

Tooooo heavy
i find it very ugly but thats subjective, not as ugly as the cf moto. i hope segway can get there crap together and start producing some good units more competition is always good. but any segway ive seen in my area was broken down on the trail

I'm a fan of basic, simple and light weight......and for that reason, I'm out.
