Love the ‘21 FX4 Lariat Powerboost with 7.2kW and Bluecruise (great feature) I purchased from Tomball Ford- but not sure I agree on holding value… the last flyer your office sent me was an offer at less than 50% of original msrp for a 3 yr old truck in like new condition with only 20k miles 😅

Resale value can vary based on several factors including market demand, vehicle availability and specific vehicle features. I am certain that back in 2021 vehicles were selling for MSRP or over. Now a days they are with deep discounts and that is why you might see that trade in valuation like you were offered. But overall the Lariat does hold value better than an xlt trim level.
Hi Jorge I ordered a F-150 Lariat 501a equipment group black pack Fx4/3.73 spray-in bedliner. Got order confirmation this last Tue from Ford. Ford customer service said my status was unscheduled/clean and that my priority code was 03. What do you think my chances are of getting scheduled for production soon?
It's hard to say, I have had the luck to get some my orders with a quick turn around time with F-150s. Some have been complete but on hold because the manufacturer could be waiting a single part. There's a lot of variables that could affect the ETA but Ford has been on time with the orders.
Hey Jorge, Ive been trying to get some info on the ambient lighting on the 2024's. I have a 2016 Lariat with amazing ambient lighting that illuminate the cup holders, various trims , wheel wells etc and I can control the colors via Synch. Do the 2024's have the same capacity?

Specifically, the capability to change the color of the ambient lighting has been removed. Additionally, the cup holders no longer have built-in lights. These changes are part of a broader effort to streamline the design and focus on other enhancements.

I'm just curious - it's no secret the quality problems Ford is having in recent years. And that hurts me because I have owned tons of great Ford and Mercury vehicles - albeit all pre-2010 models, some all the way back to early 90s. Someone comes into your store and is driving a 2003 F-150 Lariat with the rock solid 4.6L V8, maybe around 150k mi. Owned since new. Nothing wrong with it. Paid for. He is thinking about upgrading simply because he is driving a 21 year old vehicle. How do you justify the new Lariat to the customer for something that he may or may not get the same level of service out of as his current F-150? He cares about reliability, and not so much about the tech. Thanks and great videos as always!

I can't speak for other dealers, but here in tomball ford, as long as a trade-in meets all our criteria, we offer top dollar for pre-owned vehicles above KBB prices. Every customer leaves happy
Just took delivery one week ago of my 2024 F-150 Lariat PowerBoost Hybrid 6.5 ft. bed, also with 7.2KW onboard generator, Antimatter Blue exterior, slate grey interior. It took exactly 6 months from order date to delivery date. I previously leased 2018 and 2021 Lariats. Can't say enough good things about this 2024 model, especially the new HUD feature. But one quick question that our Ford dealer and others can't seem to answer. In the digitized Instrument Cluster, the Tachometer is no longer showing a digital RPM indication but only the outer ring RPM representation. Is this a flaw on my particular vehicle, or has Ford deleted the digital RPM readings starting with this model year, perhaps as a measure to convince the drivers to keep our eyes focused on the HUD?
@@Askjorgelopez Thank you for your prompt reply and answer! I thought I had one other problem in that there was no indication of what gear the transmission was operating in, e.g., 1 thru 10, with the gear selector in DRIVE. However, it was pointed out to me that after you select DRIVE mode you must then press the + Button on the gear shift selector. This then displays gears 1 thru 10 to the immediate right of the PRNDM indication. Knowing what gear the truck is operating in is an obviously helpful feature to aid in my driving style to get the truck into the highest gear possible at a given speed and help maximize fuel economy with the PowerBoost Hybrid/10-speed transmission.
The step feature on the tailgate is already a standard option. However, with the recent start of production for the pro-access tailgate, the website now prompts customers to choose between the standard step or the pro-access gate when placing an order. It is always better to order it all at once instead of doing it later, because to add the lights and tailgate step you need to account not only the price but the labor fees to install it. I hope this helps!

I've been trying to create that video for a while. We had a Raptor R and wanted to do a comparison video, but I can't seem to keep two in one place long enough-they go out fast!
Why is it we see Lariats with two different dashboards, old style and new style? The truck in this video has the old style, but i have watched other videos of a confirmed Lariat with a new style dashboard. Update. After researching, I found the new style dash in 502A and old style dash in 501A. That is the observation I made when viewing both trim packages.
The only thing that keeps me out of the lariat and above is the fact you can not have the shifter on the column unless you go with the jumper seat. Ford really needs to change that in the F150. With the super duty you get the shifter on the column no matter what trim level. Ford should at least give people the option. It’s too important to have that extra space where a shifter doesn’t need to be and takes up counsel space!!
I hear you, I think Ford is focusing on primary on safety which the dial shifter provides. We are still feeling the affects of covid which is why they have been many delays on certain models and if they offer the options it would further delay stock and not meet customer demand. Maybe in the future Ford will be able to provide options to meet customer demand. Thank you for watching
I work in the oilfield, I have a 2023 Lariat and my next purchase will be a STX just because I think STX is more of a work truck and have enough power and torque for my needs, luxury for an Oilfield Job not worth it.
That taillights are ugly and they look like Nissan Titan 😂😂 better stick around the Gen14 also that price not worth for only refresh the headlights and taillights other than that nothing really different with the current F150 model now better don't fall on it y'all.

If I make a lariat but don’t do the bed package, can I add the lights for the bed later? And what about the tailgate step?
It is always better to order it all at once instead of doing it later, because to add the lights and tailgate step you need to account not only the price but the labor fees to install it. I hope this helps!

It is still available for the Lariat and up trim levels, there has just been delayed until till next month.
